The dictionary defines trust as, assured reliance on the character, ability, strength or truth of someone or something in which confidence is placed.

The pollsters tell us that trust in Congress is close to an all-time low, as is trust in media.

Every year it is a God-given blessing of mine to travel the length and breadth of this, the greatest and most beautiful nation on Earth, the United States of America, and I never tire of it.

This week we celebrate the day which has been set aside to remember and express our thanks for the many blessings we have received throughout the year, and as always I have a lot to be thankful to God for.

Above all, I thank God for the gift of eternal life brought to earth through the sacrifice of His only son Jesus Christ on the cross and the shedding of His blood which covers our many sins.

I thank God for every breath I breathe, for every sight my eyes behold, for every sound, every smell, each step I take, every drink of pure cool water.
