Us or Them

The recent terrorist attack in New York City has once again forced us to face the ugly fact that our War on Terror is ongoing, deadly and that the enemy were dealing with is cunning, resourceful and able to adapt to the ever-changing security methods and protocols, changing tactics from major bombings and crashing airplanes into buildings to turning common motor vehicles into juggernauts of death mowing down innocent pedestrians and crashing into busloads of children.

As always, I have to throw in the obligatory disclaimer, Not all Muslims are terrorists. We are well aware that is true, but if it isnt said early enough, the cherry-picking trolls start salivating.

Im not talking about peaceful law-abiding Muslims, we are talking about the radical Islamists.

These people are basically animals, with no conscience, no remorse, and no morals and their only goal in life is to murder as many non-Muslims as they can in the commission of some supposedly glorious suicide that will ensure them a place in some male-dominated heaven where they will spend eternity eating and drinking gourmet food and having sex with 72 virgins.

The humanity, mercy, pity and all other basic human emotions have been burned out of their consciousness by radical Islamic clerics and replaced with blind hatred for all infidels and the belief that their Koran, Hadiths and the teachings of their prophet, Mohammed, call them forth to this duty and condone the bloody ramifications.

They take advantage of our free and open society, knowing that America will never pay back in kind and they slaughter women and children as readily as they would soldiers on the battlefield.

One of the problems with Americas approach to terrorism is that it was set back eight years by a president who couldnt even bring himself to utter the words radical Islamic terrorist, created ISIS by prematurely pulling out of Iraq, bowing to a Saudi king, signifying weakness to the Muslim world, placing stumbling blocks in the paths of domestic law enforcement charged with locating the terrorists among us and exhibiting a somewhat lackadaisical attitude in admitting the true extent of the danger in America.

And of course, he is not the only one, from what I gather, anyone listening to Mayor De Blasios remarks after an avowed ISIS sympathizer killed eight New Yorkers and plowed headlong into a school bus full of handicapped children, could easily get the impression that he was more worried about prematurely identifying the perpetrator as a Muslim terrorist than he was his actions, even though the plan was one reportedly identified in ISISs own terrorist guidebooks.

It is also my understanding that the Mayor was responsible for doing away with a policy that would have allowed the NYPD to keep close surveillance on the very mosque Saipov attended.

Saipov came into America because of a liberal program to promote diversity in our immigration policy, an actual lottery, which in my book at least, is a hell of a way to run a railroad, much less an immigration program, picking immigrants by chance rather than merit.

And of course, immediately following the slaughter, many of the left wing leaning politicos and media are more concerned with the safety of the Muslim population than talking about what happened, what fostered it and doing whatever is necessary to prevent it from happening again.

The truth of the matter is that certainly the overwhelming majority of American Muslims are peaceful and just want to live their lives and raise their families and should be afforded every constitutional right as Americans of any other ethnic origins, but what has kept this nation safe and prosperous for over two centuries is that immigrants of all origins have put aside their ethnicity and become Americans first and foremost and stood shoulder to shoulder against whatever enemies we had.

America, including Muslim Americans, have a decision to make.

Do we make an all-out effort to rid ourselves of terrorists like Saipov, those who, without conscience or remorse murder innocent Americans, and become the face of Islam to most people, to relentlessly pursue them wherever the trail leads, whatever neighborhood, mosque or ethnic conclave, or do we put on our politically correct pants and play the Most of them are good people card, sit on our hands and watch America be blown apart literally limb by limb?

Nobody wants to throw the baby out with the bath water, what needs to be done here is for Muslim Americans to cooperate and rid themselves and the nation and their faith of the handful of radicals who threaten us all.

Many Muslims serve in our armed forces, hold jobs in industry and many have assimilated into society and become part of Americas mainstream.

But the truth is that many have not and still harbor the radicals, giving them safe haven while they plan their deadly attacks.

So, which fork in the road do we take?

One leads to security for our children and grandchildren.

We dont even want to think about where the other one leads.

What do you think?

Pray for our troops, our police and the peace of Jerusalem.

God Bless America

You are absolutely correct. We must not allow immigrants into our country unless they will stand shoulder to shoulder with other Americans and defend our country and OUR way of life. If they don't want to become American, don't come here.

Amen, Amen & Amen Charlie, we need to use profiling just like or dear friend and closest ally Israel. It works excellent and the PC crowd can cry foul like they did when the great American patriot and sheriff Joe Arpaio profiled for illegals. Muslims of the world need to come to grips with the truth, Abraham's only yachiyd begotten son was Issac. Jesus is THE way. THE as in only way. nuff said God Bless Plowboy

I choose us
America is made up of numerous peoples. But to BE an American should mean we will fight together to keep America free and safe. Stronger vetting, ect would go a long way to helping, as well as getting rid of politicians who obviously don't have out country's best interest in mind.

Let us not forget
The next time a Christian terrorist walks into a Planned Parenthood Center gun in hand and starts killing for his religion, let us take the same considerations.

If find it very disappointing that many liberals, politicians and citizens, would rather support Islam and the radical small percentage that want to end our lifestyle than care for our own citizens. But, I guess that only increases their voter registration numbers. Another example of why extreme vetting is necessary. I think it time to determine whether or not immigrants want to assimilate into our society or not. For those that do not it should be time to return to their original countries or go elsewhere. This country, in part, was built upon immigrants coming together for the betterment of our country. My ancestors were immigrants, I'm second generation American and proud to be here as all immigrants should be. Please pray for the wisdom of our politicians with regard to formulating and putting in place reasonable immigration reform so as to lessen the degree of potential terrorism and for the ultimate advantage to our country.

Why?
Why aren't the law abiding, Untied States loving American Muslims coming out everywhere in droves to condemn these guys? Makes it seem as though a lot of them must be more on the side of the terrorists than the side of the victims - it doesn't look good. The Bible says "abstain from the appearance of evil".

Saipov
We can thank Linda Sarsour, Exec. Dir. of the Arab American Association of New York, for Saipov's atrocity. She campaigned for passage of a law over the objections of the mayor, and the police chief, in NYC, that ultimately prevented law enforcement from doing surveillance upon the mosque which Saipov attended. She praised Imam Siraj Wahaj, who was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Ctr. bombings. She's praised Assata Shakur, a convicted cop killer. She's called for "jihad" against Pres. Trump. She is, in my view, an enemy of the United States, that needs to be recognized as such.

I think the easiest way to handle this is the totality of one question. Can a muslim/islamist be a good American? The answer is, No! We are a country founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs and systems. The Bible is really America's first law book, with the constitution is authored as a man inspired decree that is supplement in the greatest of humility to God, and natural law. Islam and its koran and other guides are the antithesis of all America stands for. To come to America to live and thrive here as so many have, you must become American. It wasn't too long ago we started with the this-American, and that-American mentality (African-American, etc...) This caused division as was designed from the left. I'm not a Sicilian-American, I am American! Those whom are islamist, will never be Americans because they want to change America, not become Americans. We don't force anyone to be a Christian or a Jew, they (muslims) force all, yes all to convert. Because I'm a Veteran, I believe in the freedom of religion. If you want to be muslim, then be muslim. Don't try to make me be one. That's not freedom. Don't hate me because I am not muslim. Just live your life as you'd see fit. If you choose force, then go ahead... However, understand that it will truly then become Us or them. I say if you attack innocent folks, then the full weight of true and natural law should be brought down to bear upon you with extreme prejudice, and for the good of a decent and free society. I personally condemn all acts of terrorism globally, as I condemn those timid sympathizers that allow it for fear of hurting someone's feelings. I further condemn any government that claims war on terror to purely make money for the "haves and have more" crowd, and to victimize both sides of the fight. Mr. Daniels, with all respect to you. A true believer in America.
