Hard Sell

The past eight years have seen the advent of a national health care program that was designed to fail and foster a federal single payer plan, a high up Internal Revenue Service official pleading the Fifth Amendment when accused of using the power of the agency to persecute organizations of a differing political persuasion, an attorney general whose hair brained Mexican cartel gun running scheme got people killed on both sides of the border and couldnt be investigated because his boss sealed the records, and another who met privately with an ex-president whose wife was under federal investigation by an entity of the department she administered.

We saw a president caught on a microphone he didnt know was open sending a personal message to Vladimir Putin but was never accused of collusion by the adoring media.

We saw the national debt doubled to proportions that soon, without drastic action, will devour the lions share of American GDP just to service the interest on the loans.

We saw the bloodiest manifestation of radical Islam yet as ISIS filled the vacuum left in Iraq by the premature withdrawal of American troops.

We saw America further divided along racial, ethnic and financial lines, a festering disrespect for law, the wholesale release of thousands of drug offenders from prisons, a massive effort to inundate America with refugees from war torn nations where the infrastructure for any hope of adequate vetting had been destroyed.

Weve seen an attempt by elitist academia to reduce the influence of men and blame the nations problems on a supposed white male driven colonialist environment that shuns
racial equality, creates glass ceilings and places barriers in the path of all non-whites.

Weve seen violent protests, riots, window smashing, car burning and we are now on the verge of whole states declaring bankruptcy.

We dont even know how many illegal immigrants are in our country, much less who they are, where they come from, what diseases they could be carrying and if their intentions in coming to America include blowing part of it up.

Our schools are turning out functional illiterates and much of the university population is majoring in subjects with little or no practical application and will be forced to take a job far below their academic abilities.

Our military has been put on the back burner at a most dangerous time in our history while China and Russia expand their military capabilities and the pudgy little maniac in North Korea is developing nuclear toys to play with.

The Republicans are up to their usual old tricks of looking a gift horse in the mouth and pulling defeat from the jaws of victory.

And the Democrats have placed all their political capital in one basket and if and when the Russian collusion thing falls apart, and its already getting frayed around the edges, what do they have left.

Obstruction of justice? Good luck with making that one stick.

Folks, what Im saying is that our nation is in a mess and neither the present Democratic or Republican parties are going to do anything meaningful about it.

Theyre too busy grabbing self-aggrandizing sound bites and investigating each other.

Its time to truly drain the swamp and the only way to get rid of the crooks, the RINOs, the
radicals, the power brokers and also rans is term limits.

Send them ALL home every six to eight years, it will break up the power cliques and decimate the old boy networks, put faces fresh off the street with the opinions of real time practical experience in power, rather than that of those who view the nation from their ivory towers and make the trip to their constituency for vote gathering purposes only.

This decision should not be left to Congress because its their worst nightmare, but should be put before the American people in referendum form.

I am firmly convinced, there is no other way.

What do you think?

Pray for our troops and the peace of Jerusalem.

God Bless America

Suck it Dry
Amen, Amen & Amen Charlie we not only need to drain the swamp, we need to suck out every last drop of scum and leave it drier than a popcorn fart so that that the sunshine can kill all the bacteria, fungus and scurf left behind by the RINO's and Obomamites. nuff said God Bless Plowboy

Obama
Charlie, when Trump finally leaves office, you will look back fondly on the time when Obama was in office. Remember the last conservative President, the destruction of the World Trade Center, the still unsolved anthrax attacks, the destruction of the Columbia space shuttle, the worst black out in the country's history, the Afghanistan quagmire, the creation of a 'model country' in Iraq, the torture scandal, the secret surveillance of American citizens, the Pat Tillman coverup, the Katrina disaster, etc? We now have a President without a clue. You ain't seen nothing yet.

cleaning up all the political mess we are in
First of all, the only way our AMERICA is gona get better is if we return back to THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, we have pushed GOD out of our lives, our homes, we think we can live o.k. without HIM. Thats a mistake. Second we need somebody strong enough, mean enough to stand up for what is right in the sight of GOD. Evertime i listen to you speak you say all the right things,we need someone with that kinda mind set, too bad you aren,t the leader in the White House, even if you don,t want to be a part of the political rat race, maybe you could be an advisor for Trump Organization.

Bush a Conservative?
Dana, this statement is mine only, I applaud you for mentioning the Pat Tillman cover up, I for one believe that he was assassinated, not merely killed by friendly fire. But I also believe that Obama had Chris Kyle assassinated by a brain washed Veteran who was under the influence of government administrated Psychotic drugs and a government handler. As far a Bush being a conservative, that is a joke, kinda of like his claim to be a Christian, not a good Texan either. Both him and his Daddy are members of the Skull & Bones Society. George senior announced on 09/11/1990 A New World Order. Junior was in office on 09/11/2001 when the 2,977 Americans were murdered. Obama was at the helm on 09/11/2012 when an act of war was committed against the USA in Benghazi. 11 years 11 years, Obama is a Prince Hall Mason, do you see the connection? I will Take Donald Trump 1,000 to 1 over Obama, nuff said God Bless

The Bush Family
I spent a long time in Texas, and myself and most of the people down that way had a high regard for the Bush family, even the ones who did not quite work out. As far as I am concerned, George H.W. Bush could easily fix any problems that Trump and his family are creating if he ever finds the time. One of the best Presidents of the last 50 years, nice to know he is still with us and hope he will be for a long time to come.

Agree
Charlie I agree with you on all points. Over the last 8 years of Obama's dictatorship the country has been like a deer stuck in head lights. The government that was gleaned by the Obama administration into a well oiled communist machine powered by high test political correctness allowed corruption and anti-Americanism to flourish. Just because we have a President now who want's to drain the swamp doesn't mean he will do so with ease or co-operation of either side of the aisle. It took over 8 years to screw it up it will take decades and many more Trumps to finally put us right.

self-aggrandizing
Charlie, you mentioned self-aggrandizing politicians. This reminds me of something I once saw on the news. It was a pro-life march. Im pro-life, so I agree with their cause. And yes, I understand that pro-life politicians have a role in this cause. And yet, I was repulsed to see Mike Pence at this march speaking at a podium. Im convinced that politicians and pundits who speak of family values as being too focused on their own career as a public figure to be deserving of much praise. Tru Cola

term limits
I agree whole heartedly. I is about time the electorate followed suit with the start of putting a nonpolitician in office. Now take it to the next level, elect the new person no matter what their political party. We need more business men in office, they know how to work with green dollars, not the black and white money. It will take the voters to do this not a law written by the politicians. Thank you and God Bless all.
