About Charlie Daniels:
From his Dove Award-winning gospel albums to his genre-defining southern rock anthems and his CMA Award-winning country hits, few artists have left a more indelible mark on America's musical landscape than Charlie Daniels. An outspoken patriot, beloved mentor, and a true road warrior, Daniels parlayed his passion for music into a multi-platinum career and a platform to support the military, underprivileged children, and others in need. The Charlie Daniels Band has long populated radio with memorable hits and his signature song, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia." Over the course of his career, Daniels received numerous accolades, including his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Musicians Hall of Fame and becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Daniels helped to shine the spotlight on the many causes that are close to his heart. He was a staunch supporter of the military and gave his time and talent to numerous charitable organizations, including The Journey Home Project, that he founded in 2014 with his manager, David Corlew, to help veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

How's the view from The Mountain?
We don't weep like those who have no hope. Thank you for playing that fiddle and singing all those songs. Your love towards God and your love towards America were truly inspirational. Your song about Little Folks reminds me to slow down, because my kids will grow up and be gone. Your song about Letting Freedom Ring reminds me that we've got to take the blinders off and be truly unified. You've got so many songs that we just jam to around the house. Songs like Alligator and Midnight Wind and Talk to me Fiddle. So many good songs. I'll be rocking, "Awesome God", "How Great Thou Art" today Sir because I know you inspired me to praise and I'm sure you're up there doin it! I'll also be playing "Go Rest High On That Mountain", and thinking of you sittin up there!

One of the most grateful and giving book authors I have ever edited -- a man who chose his words with great care and who loved his country passionately. You will be missed, Charlie Daniels. May you rest in God's love.

One of Charlie Daniels songs
There was a song he sang and somewhere in the lyrics it says something about needing to buy the baby some shoes or the kid some shoes....? I cant find this song and I want to hear it so bad! I loved Charlie Daniels and his band! His gospel, his patriotism, his southern sterness....He was my all time favorite!! I hope someone can help me with this song. RIP Charlie Daniels!!

CDB in Fond du Lac, WI, July 2019
I'm not a huge concert guy, but when they closed off a few block in Fondy in 2019 for the band, I was there. It was tremendous! Every musician in CDB could be the star in his own band! Talk about talent! I enjoyed that concert so very much, and I wonder what they're all up to these days. Well, I was in a great spot in the crowd with a DSLR camera with a zoom lens, so I got some very nice shots. (I caught the flying towels as Ron just kept jamming that drum solo, and I got a good shot of Chris sticking his tongue out at the crowd. How rude! Ha!) If there's any interest, I'd love to share. Just e-mail me and let me know how and where to send them. God's blessings to Charlie's family and bandmates! I was so thankful to have that experience and memories in America's last year of liberty before Mr. Daniels left us behind. Life is short, though. By the Lord's grace, we'll see him again soon!

Live Music
Hi! It has been many years gone by that I first experienced the Charlie Daniels Band, OMG I went all went wild! These men were true to the form of USA music. OMG my first girl crush was hearing Charlie Daniels Band live in Seattle, Wa. The band opening blew away the local warm up musical band. Typical before the grunge music scenes. Let us remember that I am 14 years old in Seattle, just saw Rainbow Bow Just leave this old hair country boy alone 2022, November Seattle, WA. I met you Sir I was 14 years old at the time standing in the 3rd seating row. I will never forget you I listened on FM Radio in Seattle late night.
