When I Know
America Is Slipping
When I see graffiti on public property.
When I see Al Franken sitting on a Senate committee.
When I know Joe Biden is only a heartbeat away from being President
of the United States and Nancy Pelosi is only two heartbeats away.
When I see a loudmouthed punk like Hugo Chavez take over oil rigs owned
by American companies without repercussions.
When I see a woman who instituted a ban on military recruiting on a
major college campus even being considered for a seat on the Supreme
Court.
When a presidential administration refuses to say, "War on Terror'.
When I see lawsuits filed by the ACLU to remove any mention of Almighty
God from public places.
When I see an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico go on for months and an
administration that doesn't know how to stop it and refuses to get out
of the way and let somebody who knows how to do it.
When I see an Attorney General who has more concern for the rights of
murdering scumbag Islamic terrorists than he does for the wellbeing
of the United States of America.
When the federal government sues a state for enforcing the laws of the
federal government.
When people who coddle criminals want to take guns away from people
who are not criminals, while allowing criminals to keep theirs.
When a nation that has always been free owes a communist nation hundreds
of billions of dollars.
When a United States president is naïve enough to think you can
get the nation out of debt by going farther into debt.
When our government has no idea who is coming across our southern border
and refuses to do anything to find out.
When I see an obvious radical socialist put in charge of the disastrous
new health care program without even being vetted by the U.S. Senate.
When I see three generations of people think that they are entitled
to a government check every month for the rest of their lives.
When I see punks fathering children and not being made to support them.
When I see media sources, which only report what fits their political
agenda, which violates the essence of freedom of the press.
When I see a president willing to do harm to the armed forces who protect
this nation by abolishing the "don't ask don't tell" policy.
When revisionist history is taught to the children of this country.
When I see the educational system of this nation controlled by a union.
When men who call evil good and good evil rule our country and lie for
their own political gain.
When I saw Harry Reid stand in front of a television camera and say
the famous and erroneous words "The war is lost."
When I see a presidential cabinet made up of people who have never run
a business and don't have enough practical sense to take the wrapper
off a stick of chewing gum.
When I get to thinking that Bill Clinton looks like Abraham Lincoln
compared to the current president, I know we're in trouble.
