Something's
Happening Here
Anybody with an ounce of horse sense can see that we're headed for a
head-on collision between our energy sources and our energy needs.
There are just too many variables that can come into play overnight
that could shut down the flow of foreign oil into this country and leave
us industrially paralyzed.
First of all, most of our imported oil comes from people who basically
hate our guts and would like nothing better than to see America brought
to her knees, destitute and defenseless.
Just a medium sized suicide terrorist attack could close the oil ports
on the Persian Gulf and choke off the Strait of Hormuz indefinitely.
There will be a time in the future when this will likely happen and
our country is ill prepared for the ramifications. It's as if we are
ignoring the icebergs and steaming full speed ahead to our own demise.
What I can't figure out is why. There has to be a reason.
Administration after administration, both Democrat and Republican, have
talked about all out efforts to develop alternative energy sources to
wean us off foreign imports. Fuel cells, wind power, hydroelectric,
clean coal, ethanol produced by a non food source crop, nuclear and
other proposed sources have been touted and then left in the dust of
a successful political campaign, consigned to the overloaded junk pile
of broken promises.
We are told that we can't drill because of pressure from environmental
groups.
Well folks, to me, this just doesn't hold water. I don't believe that
a few organized groups like Greenpeace and the Sierra Club, along with
a handful of burned out old hippies are able to subvert the will of
the majority of the people of this nation who want to drill for our
domestic supplies of oil.
I just don't believe that tail is big enough to wag that particular
dog. I think it's just an excuse for not pursuing the opening of the
rich oil fields in America.
It's a known fact that if the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico had been
in shallow water it could have been shut off right away. Why do we force
offshore drilling into such depths that we can't control the wellhead?
It's insanity.
And I don't believe that environmental groups alone have the power it
would take to throw this size monkey wrench into the pursuit of fossil
fuel for America.
There has to be a deeper and darker answer.
Whose interest would be served to keep a tight control on the supply
of oil and the continued worldwide demand for it?
Our first inclination is to say the oil companies, and we'd be right
but only partially right.
But who controls the international purse strings of the giant multinational
corporations?
Big banking of course, and who controls big banking.
It is a fact that banks have been known to finance both sides of a war
and shady international arms dealing.
The Federal Reserve in America is not federal at all but operated by
private bankers with a board of directors who are politically appointed.
They decide interest rates and money supply and can cause inflation
by printing more paper bills or deflation by taking them out of circulation.
International banking interests have been at the heart of conspiracy
theories for centuries. The Rothschild and Rockefeller families have
been suspected of exerting control over world events with their vast
reserves of cash and gold.
Shadowy groups like the Council on Foreign Relations and the Club of
Rome with their membership of top world politicians, bankers and businessmen
have long been suspected of manipulating world events and foreign policy,
with their secret meetings and undeclared intentions.
Is there really a cadre of heavyweights pulling the puppet strings of
elected officials and international businessmen?
I really don't know. I am not a conspiracy theorist or an alarmist,
but there's something happening here that is controlling the exploration
of oil, the building of nuclear plants, the development of new fuel
technologies.
Controlling the worldwide supply of oil and hindering the development
of technologies that would do away with the need for it would make somebody
a lot of money.
There's something rotten going on here, something that has to do with
greed, power and pure evil. Something to do with manipulating world
events, something diabolical, something sinful, a game that all who
play it lose big, in the end.
What does it profit any man if he gains the whole world and loses his
own soul?
Nuff said.
What do you think?
Pray for our troops
God Bless America
