Look Out Boys; They're Coming After Our Guns

Chicago has turned into a battleground with a daily shooting war going on between the criminal elements and woe to the innocent bystander who gets caught in the crossfire.

In fact, you don't even have to be in the crossfire, you just have to live in the war zone to have a good chance of having your brain matter splattered against the walls of your living room by some scumbag who couldn't care less that the gun he murders you with is illegal.

One citizen, after applying and being denied owning a handgun to protect himself, finally got irate enough to sue and the case made it all the way to the U.S. Supreme court.

The Supreme Court, by the narrowest of margins, declared that it was legal for an American citizen to own a handgun for their personal protection. The vote was 5 to 4.

My point is that the congress is going to confirm Elena Kagan, who has never been a judge, who is a screaming liberal, and who--no matter what she says in her hearings--will, mark my words, lean the court to the left and pass some of the most radical jurisprudence in the history of this nation.

This woman is a walking ideological time bomb just waiting for the chance to blow the Constitution to kingdom come. She is pro-gay and anti-military; a stalwart member of the academic elite whose view of America is a place that badly needs changing.

The Democrats in the senate are slobbering all over themselves praising a woman whose most notable accomplishment, so far ,was to bar military recruiters from the Harvard campus because she didn't agree with the don't ask don't tell policy.

She has had no experience in the job she wants which seems to be a requirement to be a part of Obama's inner circle, and believe me that's exactly what she'll be, a liberal rubber stamp who just can't wait to chip away at the already frayed wall of American individual rights.

Obama wants America under the total control of the government, and even the pitiful girly men and gutless wonders in congress have enough brain power to know that they've gone about as far in that direction as they can go without getting lynched when they go back to their home states.

So the quickest way to get the Obama agenda passed is through a tainted Supreme Court, and believe me, that's exactly where this is headed. Obama may lose his lockstep majority in congress but think what a majority in the Supreme Court could accomplish.

The possibilities are limitless; all it takes is a couple of ACLU hot shots and a radical liberal majority in the highest court in the land.

One of the priority agendas of the far left is to ban private ownership of firearms and you can bet your last cartridge that when Obama gets his majority firmly ensconced on the bench a gun lawsuit will follow in short order.

It's coming guys, you can make book on it.

If you've ever read the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution, you'll see where it grants Americans the right to keep and bear arms. It's there in black and white, it doesn't say you have to be a militiaman to keep and bear arms, just an American.

My friends, in my opinion, when Elena Kagan takes her place on the Supreme Court, you're going to see an attempt to take away our constitutional rights one by one by a reinterpretation of the Constitution.

Let's all pray that the conservative justices stay healthy for the foreseeable future, or the court will be locked at 5-4 liberal majority for many, many years.

Obama and his bunch just don't like America the way it is and are determined to change it into a socialist state where everybody lives under the thumb of a monolithic, repressive central government.

The last thing they want is an armed America and the only way they can take our guns away is through the Supreme Court and you can count on a case being brought before them in the not too distant future.

It's going to happen, sure as shootin'.
