Sometimes

Sometimes my mind starts to bring up and dwell on all the trouble we face on the national and international fronts.

There is little doubt that Obama and his band of liars and crooks in the House and the Senate are going to ruin the economy of the nation.
It's clear that they're hell bent on destroying the best medical system in the world, driving doctors out of practice and private health insurance companies out of business.

You can bet the ranch that they are planning on legalizing the unknown millions of illegal aliens in this country, creating an unbeatable block of voters which will keep them in office until they finally and completely drain the well.

It's obvious that they are willing to use force to enforce their new healthcare bill hiring 16,000 new Internal Revenue Service Agents to poke their unwanted noses into every aspect of your life, and make you pay fines if you don't tow the line according to their twisted principles.

What's next, federal prison? And no, don't think it's a silly question.

It's apparent to anybody who is willing to think about it that Obama -and his bunch of what Ronnie Van Zant used to call educated fools- have no idea about what needs to be done to protect this country. They don't even have the smarts to call the enemy or the war on terror by it's proper name, so how in the heck are they going to fight it, they won't even admit what kind of people they're supposed to be fighting.

What's happening on the Mexican border is going to spill into the United States, and Obama is too busy in his petulance and pettiness -to the point of verbally sparing with Sarah Palin- to even mention the disaster that's unfolding on America's very doorstep.

Everybody knows, and has known for decades, that it is just a matter of time before Iran has a deliverable nuclear weapon of mass destruction and instead of doing something meaningful about it, Obama shows disrespect for Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on his recent visit to the White House; emboldening not only Iran, but every other Islamic nation that hates Israel and thinks that Obama's actions spell the end of a lot of America's support for Israel.

And to tell the truth, they're probably right.

We are told by eco-nuts that cow flatulence is helping to destroy the planet and that it makes no difference if it's hot or cold, drought or flood, snowstorm or sandstorm it's caused by global warming.

We are being lied to and sold out, cheated and pushed around, deprived of our rights and kids are being taught revisionist history.

A school can help a teenaged girl get an abortion, but it's would be against the law for her to pray about it on school grounds.

And folks, it isn't going to get no better. We will see things in the next few years that will completely overwhelm mankind, if we let them.

I believe there will be catastrophic earthquakes and storms, wars and possible even nuclear explosions.

There will be famine and plagues and a good part of what's wrong with the world will be blamed on Jews and Christians in the eyes of the world.

In the future, and it hurts me to say this, we will lose our place as the biggest star in the galaxy. What's happening in Washington all but assures it.

We will lose our financial status and our defensive capabilities will be weakened to the point that we're no longer feared as the most dominant military force on earth.

Yes people, it seems like the sky is falling, doesn't it?

Not so.

Why?

Because the One who made the sky is ultimately in charge and He never forgets His children.

I choose to put my eternal future into the hands of the Creator of the universe and when I start thinking about the horrible mess mankind is in, I just have to stop and think that God is mightier than all the armies of the earth put together, He has more brain power than all the geniuses and super computers on earth put together, His sense of justice is infallible, His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations.

And one of these days His Son is going to set up a government on this earth and show the world how it's supposed to be done.
And the way things are going, it could happen soon.
