Deep Water
President Obama recently signed a new treaty with the Russians limiting
the amount of nuclear weapons in both our arsenals.
Obama may be casting himself in the role of the great global peacemaker,
but the truth of the matter is this is little more than an exercise
in futility.
What makes Obama think that the Russians will honor any treaty they
sign? Of course they'll be glad to destroy some of the old obsolete
cold war relics they've got lying around, but when it comes to making
the world a safer place you have to remember that they'll still have
enough weaponry in their nuclear stockpile to destroy everybody on the
planet many times over, and we will too.
We are lead to believe that it's just the first step in doing away with
all the nuclear weapons on earth but that is nothing more than an idealistic,
flower child's daydream If Obama really wanted to do something meaningful
that could have well kept the world away from the brink of nuclear war
he would have done something about Iran developing weapons of mass destruction,
and if Russia was serious about reducing the danger they would have
helped us instead of opposing us in the U.N. Security Council every
time the subject of doing something serious about Iran comes up.
It's just another example of symbolism over substance. If the Russians
decide to use their nukes, the treaty they sign won't be worth the paper
it's written on.
It's not just the nuclear missiles that create the danger, but also
the people who have control of the nukes.
Pakistan is a pretty unstable country, and one regime change could put
their nuclear capability square into the hands of our worse blood enemies.
India is not about to give up their nukes. They don't trust Pakistan
as far as you could throw the Taj Mahal.
North Korea is a total loose cannon and for all we know the idiot who
rules that country with an iron fist may decide to shoot off a few nuclear
missiles to celebrate his birthday.
China has nukes and designs of attacking Taiwan, which I wouldn't be
surprised to see them attempt during the weak Obama Administration.
Why isn't he talking to them?
Though they won't admit it, Israel has nukes and if they are attacked
by Iran they will not hesitate to use them.
The unfortunate truth is that the world is full of dangerous people
who will take every concession Obama -in his naivety- is willing to
give them and give nothing in return.
There will be absolutely no American advantage in the treaty with Russia.
They're probably laughing at Obama in Moscow.
So which would mean the most, putting the screws to Iran before they
start a nuclear war in the Middle East or signing some meaningless nuclear
treaty with Russia.
Obama is also changing our policy in using our nuclear weapons; in essence
we won't use nukes on another nation who doesn't have them, even if
they've used some sort of chemical or biological weapon of mass destruction
against us first.
I can't help wondering what will happen if some non-nuclear nation mounts
a massive chemical attack on America. The new policy means that they
can just keep on attacking while we take months to send conventional
forces to stop them.
Taking away the threat of a swift and deadly nuclear attack against
a hostile country is total insanity in my book.
These latest moves of Obama's confirm something I have believed for
a long time. Obama and his administration are a hundred miles at sea
in deep and stormy waters without a lifeboat. They are completely out
of their depths and every direction they swim in is the wrong one.
Obama, and the Congress that enables him, are a clear and present danger
to the freedom, economy and the very existence of this nation.
How much farther is this man going to be allowed to go?
What do you think?
Pray for our troops, and for our country.
God Bless America
