No Friend
I want to know when it became the business of the United States of America
to tell any sovereign ally of ours what they should do or not do in
the boundaries of their own country, in their own capitol city no less.
Yet when the Israelis built an apartment complex in Jerusalem, by the
reaction of the Obama Administration you would think they had dropped
a bomb on Damascus.
Barack's minion David Axelrod is roundly condemning Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is actually threatening
the withholding of military aid.
Just to be clear, this settlement is not in the disputed West Bank,
it is in East Jerusalem; Israeli land.
People, this is none of our business, the Jews have a perfect right
to build anything they want to in the city of Jerusalem and if it offends
Palestinian sensibilities that's just too danged bad.
In the quest for peace in the Middle East the world has succeeded in
forcing Israel to give up more and more concessions, territory. Prisoners,
you name it, but the Obama Administration and the rest of the world
may as well get used to the idea that the Jews are not going to give
up Jerusalem, not now, not ever.
It is the capitol of the children of Israel, and if you were around
to check in ten thousand years you would find that it was still their
capitol and will be forever and ever, and infinitum, guaranteed by their
landlord, also known as the creator of the universe.
Jerusalem will be debated about, fought over and drenched with blood,
but it will always be the Jewish capitol. It will be the center of contention
among the nations of the world until Jesus comes.
The only real friend that Israel has had since the reestablishment of
the nation in 1948 is the USA and though I totally deplore this, with
the election of Barack Obama, I believe that has ceased to be. I do
not believe that Obama is a friend of Israel, and I believe American
support for them will diminish under his watch.
If Obama turns his back on God's chosen people, he would be playing
with fire, not the kind that you light with a match but in the kind
that sets a nation ablaze.
God said it very plainly to Abraham when He first started dealing with
him. He said He would make a mighty nation, a nation of his seed and
that the ones who blessed them, He would bless and the ones who cursed
them, He would curse.
But I don't guess we can expect the people in Washington to know that
since it's in the Bible and they can't even find time to read the bills
they sign into law.
Pray for our troops.
