No Choice
On the Super Bowl this year, there was a commercial featuring Florida
Gators quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow and his mother.
The crux of the message was that Mrs. Tebow had a difficult pregnancy
when she was carrying Tim and had been advised to have an abortion.
She had decided against this, and the commercial was a kind of celebration
of life and her decision to let her baby be born in spite of the dangers
she had faced and what a joy he had been to her.
And what a fortunate decision she made. Tim Tebow is not only an outstanding
athlete, but also one of the finest role models to come along in a long
time. The good he will do on this earth, in the service of God and mankind,
cannot even be measured at this time.
The commercial was very tastefully done and never even mentioned the
word abortion. It was so understated that the only complaint that N.O.W.
could come up with was the ridiculous claim that it glorified violence
against women because Tim appeared to tackle his mother. However, by
the reaction of abortion advocates you would think that it was some
rabid propaganda hit piece about what they like to call "pro-choice".
Abortion proponents roundly condemned it before anybody ever saw it
on the Super Bowl and tried their best to get CBS to ban it before the
public even had a chance to form an opinion, pro or con.
Actually the term, pro-choice, is a gross misnomer when applied to these
people. There is nothing pro-choice about them. They don't even want
the opinions of pro-life people to be heard.
That is definitely not being pro-choice, it is being one-sided and it
means that there's something so wrong with your agenda that it can't
bear the light of public scrutiny and that it cannot stand against an
honest comparison to what the other side is espousing.
This is just another example of the agenda-driven media in this country
not doing their job, by not making the American public aware of what
this liberal abortion agenda is doing to our country.
It is destroying the future work force of this nation. The demographics
of this country will trend older and older in the years to come as the
ramifications of over fifty million of it's potentially productive citizens
having been destroyed by the abortionist's knife come home to roost.
Who will take care of the mothers who have the abortions and the fathers
who stand by and let them happen? The truth of the matter is, no one.
While Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocates claim all sorts
of noble and humane reasons for the wholesale abortion going on in the
world today, there are basically only two reasons and neither one of
them is noble
The first is convenience and the other is profit.
If you could stand in front of an abortion clinic with a lie detector
and interviewed every woman who went through their doors to have an
abortion you'd find out that 99.9% of them were having an abortion because
they, their boyfriend or husband don't want the responsibility of raising
a child.
And you would find that a big percentage of them were not having their
first abortion, and you'd also find that they'd been told they aren't
aborting a baby at all, just a lifeless blob of flesh, which is a lie
from hell.
That's what happens when a society advocates personal responsibility
and moral compass to others.
The other reason is money. If all abortions had to be performed, free
abortion clinics would be closing their doors all over the world.
Abortion is murder, plain and simple. If you've ever seen a picture
of the inside of a woman's womb when a baby is being aborted, you'd
know it beyond a shadow of a doubt as the baby tries to move away from
the abortion instruments and fights for it's life, if I had my way,
that's what would be shown on the next pro-life Super Bowl commercial.
If it's just a blob of flesh, what difference does it make?
If there's really nothing wrong with abortion, bring it into the light
and let everybody hear the facts, let the world see what it's really
about and then let them make up their mind.
Now that would be real pro-choice.
