Alternatives We've been talking for several years about the fast approaching time when Iran would have nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them against Israel and U.S. interests around the Middle East and Southwest Asia. Recently Iran test-fired a series of missiles that are capable of doing just that, now all they're waiting for is to put the finishing touches on their weapons and then they'll use them. Anybody who doesn't believe that or take it seriously either has their head in the sand or lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Our viable alternatives get fewer every day and you can take the Obama card completely off the table. He is not going to do anything but talk and the time for talk passed us by some time ago. Some of the rest of the world doesn't really give a possum's hind leg if Iran destroys Israel and America and the rest like seeing us brought down a notch or two by our seeming impotence. So we basically have two options left, and they both suck. 1. Iran becomes a nuclear power and exports weapons of mass destruction to every American and Jew-hating terrorist group in the world. 2. Israel will destroy Iran's nuclear capabilities and throw the whole Middle East into a tailspin, most likely resulting in a war involving all the Muslim nations in which Israel will stand alone, forsaken by the whole world including the United States of America. Obama would probably roundly condemn Israel for bombing Iran and go to the U.N. Security Council to try to keep the war from spreading, which would be nothing more than an exercise in futility as the United Nations is worthless and most of it's members hate Israel and America anyway. When will we look back and realize that we could have stopped this insanity a few short years ago with a very simple weapon? Gasoline. It would have been that easy. In spite of all the oil under the desert in Iran, they only have one refinery and a simple Naval embargo would have strangled their economy and forced Iran's Mullahs to cease and desist their nuclear program. Now with the resurgence of Russia as a military power and friend of Iran's, our hands are tied as Russia would see that gasoline was delivered overland to Iran nullifying the effects of a Naval blockade. When evil is left alone, it only grows. So where do we go from here? In my opinion, Israel has no choice but to attack and destroy Iran's nuclear capabilities and I believe that they have enough of a finger on the situation through their intelligence organizations to know when zero hour is approaching. If there has ever been a wrong President for a wrong time in history, in my humble opinion, Barack Hussein Obama is it. Obama was supposed to restore America's wounded prestige in the rest of the world. He has done nothing but reduce the world's respect and confidence in this nation. He was supposed to create racial harmony and so far he has done nothing but move the races farther apart. He was supposed to fix our economy and all he's done is put us deeper in debt. Nothing he is doing about the economy is working and nothing he is doing about the economy is ever going to work. His "solutions" are fundamentally flawed. He has the country in a tizzy wondering just what his intentions are. Nobody knows for sure. Sometimes wonder if even he does. Now watch for Obama to start tearing down the United States military.
