of Joseph Goebbels Now let me get this straight, the Obama Administration has informed everybody that if they get "fishy" e-mails about the healthcare bill, they should report them to the White House via e-mail. So, they're saying that if you disagree with the Obamacare plan, they want all the good obedient Obama worshippers to report you? Just where in the hell does the administration think they are? Living in Nazi Germany in the 30s? What is the Obama Administration going to do, send the men in black to your door at midnight and take you to some re-education camp? They actually want to quell criticism of their healthcare bill by intimidation, by having people snitch on their neighbors who by the way have the Constitutionally guaranteed right to say any cotton picking thing they want to about healthcare or any of the rest of that communistic crap Obama is trying to put over on the American people. People, if this is not an example of arrogance and power intoxication gone completely out of control, I don't know what it's going to take to convince you. They are so arrogant in fact that they just can't understand why old people shouldn't have to undergo what is being described as "end of life counseling" and don't want to take the chance that they could be denied healthcare just because some bureaucratic mortality chart says that the public would be better served spending more on younger people -Obama even said that a it might be better for a 102-year-old woman to take pain pills instead of receiving a pacemaker which would improve the quality of her life. They can't understand why Christian people in this country don't want to pay for the wholesale slaughter of babies by across the board abortion, paid for by Obama's abominable healthcare plan. They can't understand why people who work hard to support their families don't want to pay for healthcare for illegal aliens who shouldn't be here in the first place. They don't understand why America isn't willing to go in debt for at least another trillion dollars when the nation is flat broke and borrowing money hand over fist from China and any other government willing to take our shrinking bonds. They just can't get the point that most of America is literate and have read at least some of the sordid provisions in this piece of socialist tripe and have the mentality to recognize it for what it is, not an attempt to make healthcare better but a brazen power grab designed to give the Democrat Party unprecedented power, an ill-conceived plan that will reduce the best healthcare in the world to unacceptable levels of mediocrity, control 1/6th of the U.S. economy, and give the federal government unprecedented control of the lives of U.S. citizens. Does something need to be done about healthcare? You'll get an unqualified "yes" from me on that one. The healthcare I provide for my employees goes up thousands of dollars every year. I would dearly love to see it come down. But if Obama and the gonadless Congress really cared about the price of private insurance they would do something about the real culprit that is mainly responsible for running up the price of healthcare, and that is the trial lawyers. If some doctor or hospital really harms a patient due to incompetence or carelessness, he or she should not only be eligible to be sued but should be seriously reprimanded by the American Medical Association, up to and including having their license for practicing medicine taken away. But as things stand doctors and hospitals are so afraid of being sued that they insist on procedures and tests that are totally unnecessary. They know it but they also know if they end up in court and some hot shot lawyer asks if they performed such and such a test and they admit they didn't because they didn't consider it necessary the lawyer will try to make it look like carelessness on the part of the doctor and the result could be a multimillion dollar judgment against them. The higher cost of malpractice insurance for doctors and hospitals is passed along to us along with the charges for the unnecessary tests they are forced to perform. The price of healthcare will never go down significantly until something is done about tort reform. So don't blame it on the doctors, blame it on the lawyers. When questioned by a reporter on Thursday about the specifics of the administration's snitch on your neighbor e-mail program, White House Spokesman, Robert Uh… Uh… Gibbs looked as clueless as he ever has, and acting if he had no idea what the reporter was talking about. Mr. Gibbs, if you only had any idea how you come off on TV, how utterly childish you looked taking that cell phone away from that reporter, how inarticulate you really are and how you stumble and stammer and by the time you get to the end of one of your uh… uh… convoluted statements the public has forgotten what you were even talking about. But incompetence is only part of the administration's problem. The Obama Administration has stepped over the line. This is not Nazi Germany. This is not the old Soviet Union. This is the United States of America. We don't report our neighbors for using their Constitutional right to express their minds. Speaking of expression, Nancy Pelosi had the gall to call the public outrage seen at recent healthcare town hall meetings "astroturfing" -meaning they are manufactured, organized and not real grassroots movements- and accusing those involved of carrying swastikas- which is very "pot and kettle" considering the Nazi tactics being employed by the White House. Ms. Pelosi, if you have any proof of swastikas at town hall meetings; we, the American people, would love to see it, and to say that if the protests are organized, that they are somehow not legitimate, then I guess that means that all the civil rights protests and the anti-war protests from Vietnam to the Iraq war were illegitimate too. The outrage is real, folks. People don't want this bureaucratic nightmare disguised as healthcare reform pushed down their throats, and they are letting those who would do the pushing know how they feel. But you have to appreciate the irony of the supporters of a community organizer being upset when communities organize against them. This is America, not Amerika, and the sooner you and your out of touch arrogant cronies learn it the better off you'll be. Some liberal pundits are saying that Obama just wants to correct misconceptions in the healthcare bill. When Obama was recently questioned about a specific point of the House's bill, he admitted that he wasn't familiar with the point. How can he correct or explain any of this when he hasn't read it? Let me tell you elite liberals something, you may think the American people are asleep and just because some of them are so taken by Obama's personality, that we don't realize what you people are trying to do to us. If this Joseph Goebbels type mentality about reporting dissenters is even the tip of the iceberg as to what you people are all about; America is in worse trouble than I even thought. I have been living in America for 72 years and I will give you the benefit of my experience. The American people will only take so much and when you finally step over the line and the tide turns, people like you get swept away in the flood of public anger and resentment. And that could also include your President and that gutless bunch you've got serving in Congress and the Senate. Don't think it can't happen, if you touch the wrong nerve this whole thing is going to explode in ya'll's face. And yes I said ya'll, you want to make something out of it? What do you think?
