Soap Box Archives Another Stimulus? I don't really pay a lot of attention to what Joe Biden says -except for the entertainment value- but I wonder if he is not being used to see how something would fly with the American public before President Obama tries to make it policy. In this case, Biden has said something about America possibly needing another stimulus package. Another stimulus package? They haven't begun to spend the current stimulus money yet and they're talking about another trillion-dollar fiasco. Now even Warren Buffet is chiming in with support for another stimulus, as are Democratic members of Congress. It's like watching a football game where your guy drops the winning touchdown pass, no matter how many times you replay the tape, over and over, you're going to get the same result, your team is still going to lose the game. People, this is beyond crazy, this is insanity on a scale the world has never seen. The current administration has been riding Obama's personal popularity to the poorhouse and taking the whole country along for the ride. I cannot understand how someone who is so reckless with the future of America can be so popular. I can't understand why the public can't see what he is. He is in over his head, he doesn't know what to do, he is out of his league and running ahead of the wind throwing the wealth of America down a black hole that can only lead to disaster. This is not an administration. It is a runaway train barreling down a track to oblivion. He definitely puts politics ahead of the country, and he just never quits campaigning. He has been in office for six months now and he still refuses to accept any responsibility. While he keeps blaming the Bush administration for our fiscal woes, he has spent more money than all the previous administrations in the history of America combined and jobs still keep going away, the stock market falls and the banks still refuse to loan out the money he gave them. Obama is depending on the jobs created in the construction business in mending our national infrastructure. Well in the first place there won't be near as many jobs created because the legislation requires that the construction projects be unionized, which shows you where Obama's heart is. Build the Democratic constituency, to hell with the country. And after all the construction is finished where will the jobs go and how deeply in debt will the United States of America be? In my humble opinion, the premature withdrawal of troops from Iraq will jeopardize everything we have gained there, but I guess it will make George Soros happy. Two of the most dangerous things Obama has done are the dismantling of the intelligence infrastructure that has protected us from a domestic attack for seven years and cutting the missile defense budget while dangerous nations are developing nuclear weapons and developing the means to deliver them. If we have a terrorist attack or some rogue nation gets a missile through to the American mainland, will he blame it on George Bush? Probably. When is this man going to start acting like a man and say, "The buck stops here?" "This is my job and I take the glory or the heat for whatever happens on my watch." When is he going to admit that what he is doing is not working, when is he going to grow up and stop campaigning and become the real President of the United States of America? The sooner the better.
