Soap Box Archives Dirt If you've seen the news lately or even watched the presidential debates you've heard about a man they call Joe The Plumber, the ordinary citizen who after being approached by Barack Obama asked a question about Obama's tax policy, which elicited the now famous Obama answer about spreading the wealth around. It was an example of Obama thinking on his feet without having Teleprompters or days to prepare for a question, but in my opinion, Obama told the truth about the extent of his socialistic plans for America. Evidently the question and the answer must have been embarrassing to the Obama campaign because shortly after the knives came out and the Obama happy sheep in the mainstream media have done everything in their power to destroy the man. They have claimed that he doesn't have a plumber's license, that he owes a little in back taxes and all matter of superficial crap that only an agenda driven bunch of hacks would even think about coming up with. Personally, I couldn't care less if Joe has a license or not and what he owes in taxes, if any, is between him and the Internal Revenue Service. The point is that this has very little to do with Joe The Plumber, his license, his back taxes or anything else this bunch of sold out slop merchants dig up and everything to do with the question he asked, partially exposing a side of Barack Hussein Obama that he desperately doesn't want the American public to know. Folks this is all so stupid, smoke and mirrors designed to kill the messenger who had the nerve to ask Obama a perfectly legitimate question. It makes no difference whether Joe is a plumber or an ax murderer for that matter. The pertinent thing is the question he asked and the answer Obama gave. An average hardworking American is subjected to a smear campaign by the mainstream media, while Bill Ayers, Reverend Wright and Tony Rezko only get mentioned in passing. Why isn't NBC parked out in front of Bill Ayers' house instead of Joe The Plumber's? Would this be the kind of America a President Obama would condone? Would his political machine and his accomplices in the mainstream media try to destroy the reputation of every American who proves to be an embarrassment to him or his socialistic policies? It seems to work for Hugo Chavez. Kind of reminds one of the Clinton years, remember what happened to poor Linda Tripp, who taped some incriminating conversations with Monica Lewinsky. Joe is just the latest and by no means the last victim of a far-left political philosophy that can't stand the bright light of truth. Joe asked the question and Obama gave the answer. That should have been the end of it. Since when did an American citizen have to be castigated for questioning a political candidate? When a decent and patriotic ordinary person like Sarah Palin can't throw her hat into the political arena without being drug through the mill by the pseudo-elite slimers who populate the mainstream media, it's a sad day for America. Obama claims he wants to dwell on the issues. Well Barack, the issue here is called free speech and an American expressing their honest opinion without fear or intimidation.
