Fruitless

It seems that every few years the leaders of our country take it upon themselves to negotiate a new peace initiative between Israel and the terrorist states who continue to blow themselves up on Israeli buses and lob rockets into Jewish settlements.

The negotiations always go something like this, Israel will give up more land and the terrorists will give up nothing except for empty promises which can be broken before the ink dries on the peace treaty.

Now please don't get me wrong, I admire and respect anyone who tries to bring peace in any situation but in the case in the Palestinians and Jews it always turns out to be just another futile attempt to bring peace to a part of the world where it just ain't gonna happen. And there are reasons why.

In the first place, you can't bring peace between two parties if only one of them wants it and factions in the Palestinian movement simply do not want peace. They¹ll settle for nothing less than the total destruction of Israel.
You'd think we would have learned this over the last 60 years but I guess we¹re just hard headed.

Another reason is that there is no single person who has the power or the authority to make a peace deal for the unruly coalitions of terror groups who wield the power in that troubled part of the world.

No matter what is agreed to on paper it will not be recognized by whatever group did not approve it and the slaughter of innocent Israelis continues.

How much land can the Jews be expected to donate to this peace process, knowing full well that it is not going to work? Israel is a small country and doesn't have any land left to give.

The truth of the matter is that there is plenty of wide-open spaces in the rest of the Arab world, thousands of acres of uninhabited land, but none of the Arab countries have offered it to the Palestinians for a homeland.

And I know some people would say well, it's barren desert land. Well so was Israel until the industrious Jews moved in and made it bloom.

The truth of the matter is that nobody wants them. They are troublemakers, fanatics who carry a hate for the Jews that would only be satisfied with the total annihilation of the state of Israel.

Well that's simply not going to happen. Israel will go through many trials and tribulations, wars and rumors of wars and with the exception of brief periods of uneasy peace will constantly be at war.

But Israel will never be destroyed.

Why can I say that with such authority?

It's in the book.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?
