Crime In America

The other day a 26-year-old punk broke into the house of some friends of mine with the intention of robbing them. He was carrying a gun and threatened to kill the lady of the house and in fact ended up shooting her and causing grievous damage and pain.

These are good people, hard working people who contribute daily to the prosperity and greatness of America and they have suffered at the hands of scumbag who has a record and probably had no business on the street.

Two kids in Nashville went into a pizza place the other day and killed two people, the media is full of missing and molested children, Memphis ,Tennessee is the murder capital of America. We don't have any idea what kind of criminals and low lifes are coming across our borders and on and on it goes leading this country down the path to downright anarchy.

What is the answer? I certainly don't know but I know what are not the answers.

It's certainly not throwing more money at a badly broken education program. You can spend all the money in the world but if you can't get parents to take responsibility for their children and send them to school it's never going to help.

You can spend massive amounts on social programs but as long as that money ends up in the pockets of crack dealers it's never going to work. And as long as people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpeton keep telling people that their circumstances are not at all their own fault and that they just can't make it without government assistance it's wasted money.

Many politicians will tell you that the problem is we need to get the guns off the street. I couldn't agree more. Let's get the guns off the street and out of the hands of those who use them as offensive weapons and back into
the locked gun cases of those who only use them for sport and defensive purposes.

The reticence and cowardice of lawmakers to deal with the catastrophe at the borders can only lead to trouble. Someday soon the amount of illegals will reach critical mass and when the employment and social programs go away it could well explode on the streets of America spilling innocent blood and doing property damage that will make the Watts riots look like Sunday School picnics.

Already violent street gangs of illegal aliens stalk the backstreets of America dealing drugs and murdering police officers. It wouldn't take a lot to bring it to Main Street.

There are too many judges who instead of dispensing justice and punishment are dispensing downright idiotic sentences. They continue to turn dangerous criminals back out on the street until they finally kill someone and disrupt the lives of the people the judges are supposed to be protecting.

Too many of our schools are failing social clubs where the mention of God is forbidden but anything else goes.

How do you clean up a ghetto? Well first of all you take the drug dealers and violent criminals down, you use whatever force is necessary to insure that the children can walk to school without worrying about getting shot.

If we don't have enough law enforcement officers let's hire some more. If we don't have enough prisons let's build some more. If the courts are too crowded let's convene some more.

Let's build the border fence and severely prosecute employers who hire illegal aliens.

Lets hire more border patrol agents and stop tying their hands so they can enforce the law.

That is going to cost money you say and you're absolutely right but what is the cost of not doing it?

I don't even want to hazard a guess.
