Of The Sheep, Home Of The Subservient
I for one am getting sick and tired
of seeing America kowtow to the whims of people who act as if you've hit them
in the head with a baseball bat every time the name of God or Jesus Christ is
mentioned in a public place.
America has been invoking the name of Almighty
God in it's public and private affairs for over two hundred years, our statuary
and federal papers talk about our creator, sessions of Congress are opened with
a prayer to God, the President of the United States is sworn in with his hand
on a Holy Bible and over 80% of the people in this country believe in God.
So why should a handful of atheists and A.C.L.U. lawyers dictate what will
and will not be in this country insofar as our acknowledging our creator in a
public place?
The answer is that it should not be a big deal and is only
made one by people who would like to see this country plunged into the darkness
of immorality. In other words the things they do won't bear the pure light of
righteousness, they want to hide in the dark and so they want us all to be in
that same darkness.
They want a world where convenience and sensual pleasure
rule, where there are no moral standards, where unborn babies can be aborted wholesale
right up to the minute of birth and the guilty parties can hide behind a law that
says it's a woman's right to choose to murder a baby.
They want society-mandated
euthanasia so people too old to be productive or considered to be a drain on the
system could be disposed of like so much social garbage.
They want the
godless religion of Darwinism taught in the schools while denying even the possibility
of creationism.
They want government control over every aspect of our
lives. They want to control our education, our healthcare, our level of prosperity
and most of all our money.
They want to levy ridiculous taxes on the population
and take the money to Washington to be doled out by big brother bureaucracies
brandishing mountains of paperwork and passing out penalties to those who dare
oppose
them.
They want the largest part of the population to become
a herd of sheep, dependent on government hand outs and who will come running every
time the bell rings.
Now some of my more liberal critics who peruse this
column occasionally are probably stifling a condescending laugh right about now
thinking to them that Charlie is paranoid about a great left wing conspiracy and
you know
something, you'd be right.
Except that it's not paranoia,
it¹s called alarm brought on by common sense and seven decades of watching
this nation sink farther and farther into the ocean of godless secularism.
Do you think the things I mentioned can't happen?
Well fasten your
seatbelt America. There are already powerful forces at work in this country to
bring about a godless, socialistic society controlled by a handful of elitist
who think they know what's best for us.
Are you going to sit back and
let it happen?
I'm not, not now, not ever.
