Columbia's Shame

One of the top three terrorists on the planet was recently given and accepted an opportunity to speak at Columbia University. This man is an avowed enemy of the Jews and has openly avowed to destroy them. His country
is developing nuclear weapons, he is a great admirer of Adolph Hitler and denies that the Holocaust ever happened.

Of course the invitation was given in the name of free speech and academic freedom by the university who invited an associate of Hitler, Hans Luther, to speak on their campus in the thirties and hosted a lavish reception for the Nazi punk.

I know, I know, under the constitution they have the right to invite anybody they want to speak on their campus but I wonder if they ever stop to think about or even care about the ramifications.

It would be bad enough to have the man on an American campus speaking to a room full of American students even if that had been the end of it and it was not covered by the world media.

The fair minded students at Columbia, yes the same ones who shout down minutemen and physically threaten anybody else they don't agree with, actually loudly applauded this murdering pus ball.

Just stop and think how much mileage Mohamed Ahmadinejad will get out of that in the Muslim world when the tape is edited to make it look as if the students at Columbia agreed with everything he said and it's presented to
people who have no access to the free media or the truth.

I never went to a prestigious university. In fact, I was very blessed to even get a diploma along with the other 21 classmates of the class of O55 at Goldston High School in North Carolina.

I am not a man of letters and have no academic anonyms behind my name but my seventy years plus on this earth have taught me some lessons in cowboy logic and one of them is that you don't play nice with someone who wants to kill you.

The degree of naivety among some members of the academic world, some of the Hollywood crowd and some of the people who frequent this soapbox is beyond belief to me.

Academia invites terrorists to campus, Hollywood stars go to Venezuela and pal up with a man who hates us and has said so and I can tell by some of the posts on this board that there are people out there who have swallowed the whole enchilada.

They refuse to admit that we are fighting Al Queda in Iraq. They refuse to admit that Saddam had WMD even though he used them on the Kurds, and they think that if we'd just pull all our troops out and play nice with a bunch
of cutthroats (literally) that they'd just go away and leave us alone.

Every great civilization that ever existed has fallen from within when the population loses its moral compass and indulges in fantasy and falls into the bread and circuses mentality of a bloated, out of control central government.

When politicians put party ahead of patriotism, when citizens put political preferences ahead of common sense and when a naive younger generation of college students can't see the danger of legitimizing a terrorist, this country is in serious trouble.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
