The Bones of Jesus

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, the intelligence of the intelligent I
will frustrate. 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NIV)

I'm sure it was very wise and intelligent people who found the burial box in
the historical site in Jerusalem. I'm sure they probably have a list of
degrees behind their names and are held in great esteem by other members of the archeological community.

But the problem is that they claim that the box holds the bones of Jesus
Christ, the Son of God, and His whole family.

Now as to the family, Mary, Joseph and their other children, I can't say
that it's not their bones they found, although for some very practical
reasons I sincerely doubt it.

But I can say on the absolute authority of God's infallible word, written by
eye witnesses who were alive at the time, that the bones of Jesus Christ are
not in that box and for that matter they are nowhere on this earth.

When the angels rolled the stone away from the tomb Jesus had been placed in and he rose from the dead, the only thing he left behind was a burial cloth. Read it, it's in the book.

He was seen by over 500 people after he came back to life, body intact,
except for the nail scars in his hands and feet and the wound in his side
from a Roman spear.

So I don't know whose bones you¹ve got fellows but I know whose you don't have. Jesus was seen ascending into Heaven by his disciples and he will return to the very same spot one of these days, to take his place as King of Kings and Lords of Lords.

You people are playing with fire. What you're trying to prove goes directly for the heart of Christianity. What you're saying is that Christ didn't rise from the dead but died and remained buried just like everybody else.

But you see, He was not like everybody else. He is one of a kind, the only
begotten Son of God and his body did not decay. It says so in the Bible.

But you know something, as much as I vehemently disagree with you people and I hate what you're trying to do, actually I really feel sorry for you.

Now why should an uneducated hillbilly like me feel sorry for such eminent men as yourselves?

It's because you refuse to believe the truth, you're so blinded by your own brilliance that you overlook the eternal truth, the truth that will be proven to you beyond a shadow of a doubt.

In fact, you will even bow your knee and confess with your mouth that this
Jesus, whose bones you claim to have found, is the Eternal King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Believe it now or believe it later. I hope and pray you choose to do it now.

Pray for our troops

What do you think?
