Naive 07/21/06

I find it really hard to believe how ridiculously naive some of the people in these United States of America are and nothing proves it more than the volatile and deadly situation taking place in Israel now.

Anti-Semitism has reared its ugly head in most of the rest of the world but I don’t know if that’s the case in America. I think it may be a combination of being ill informed and the ostrich syndrome. But for some reason there are those in this country who want to castigate Israel for protecting itself against terrorism.

It’s literally unfathomable that there are those who can’t see what’s going on here and the truth that all terrorists are the blood enemy of every freedom loving man woman and child on the face of the earth has never been more clear.

Some people are even naive enough to put some degree of confidence in the United Nations, you remember it don’t you? It’s that multi-billion dollar, anti-American, anti-Semite, toothless, worthless, corrupt debating society that holds forth on the banks of the Hudson in New York City.

And perhaps most naive of all there are some people who actually believe that if Israel would just pull out of Lebanon, leaving the terrorists with their weapons in tact that they would just fade into the woodwork and stop causing trouble. The likelihood of that happening is about the same as one person emptying out Lake Ponchatrain with a tea cup. In other words, it just ain’t gonna happen.

The terrorists are not going away no matter what concessions they’re given. How long will it take for some people to realize that it’s us, the people, the homo sapiens with the political philosophy of freedom they hate and that they will never stop until they have destroyed us or we have destroyed them?

One of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard was about a group in San Francisco (imagine that) with a name something like, Jews against the Israeli occupation of Lebanon or some such.

When asked what their solution would be their spokesperson said that they would put together an international coalition and solve the problem that way.

That’s the problem with the liberal mindset. Now that sounds like a wonderful solution but it is based in idealism not realism because the only friend in the world that Israel has is America. So we’re back to square one.

This problem will not be solved by diplomacy because the only solution the diplomats would reach would be for Israel to give more concessions to maniacs who are determined to wipe their race from the face of the earth even letting Hezbollah keep their weapons.

That is not a solution, in fact that is the height of folly because in a few months the Israelis would just have to go back and do it again.

I say while they’re at it let them go ahead and finish the job.
