Part Ten
Intellectualizing The War And Other Things
This will be the last of a ten part series on a crucial time
in our country about subjects our nation is going to have to
address In the near future, and my feelings on them, a synopsis
of sorts.
I have said many times that there are a lot of people who don't
understand the war on terror or the nature of the enemy we are
fighting in it.
When you start trying to explain this to some people, they sit
back in what they consider to be their lofty, condescending
position and tell us peons that we are wrong, that instead of
trying to destroy the terrorists we
should be considering the things which have made them terrorists
in the first place.
The snobbishly inform us that all the terrorist activities in
the world are not carried out by Muslims and point to the pitiful
hand full of non Muslim groups who do similar things.
They suggest that we address their grievances and give in to
their demands.
Well to such people, listen up. At least seventy five percent
of terrorism on planet earth is done by Muslims and to address
their grievances we would have to disappear from planet earth
and take Israel along with us. They don¹t want co-existence,
they don't want diplomacy and they don¹t want us alive,
period.
Second, stop picking on the brave men and women who are doing
the job to solve a situation that you don't even have the guts
to admit exists.
Thirdly, for all you who keep reminding us that the majority
of Muslims are non-violent citizens who don't support the terrorists
let me say this.
Let them declare themselves. Let them come out in mass and denounce
the terrorists, their leaders and the organizations they belong
to in a vehement, energetic way. Let them declare whose side
they would fight on if the war comes to the streets of America.
If they are good and sincere citizens let them take up the cause
of America.
Let the Muslims in America declare their loyalty.
There is no intellectual side of this war. The plain and simple
truth is that should we pull out of Iraq this war will follow
us home and if and when it does all you people who wanted us
to get out of Iraq are going to throw
your hands in the air and hide under your beds.
You may not be able to see it from your lofty pose but down
here where the rubber meets the road the problem is real, it
is not just something for the New York Times and CNN to bat
around. There are people out there who would like nothing better
than bring down the sears tower and cut the throats of your
sons and daughters.
Believe it now or believe it later.
As far as the war against Christianity is concerned, I¹ve
read the back of the book and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt
who wins that one.
If we don't start supporting our police we are in effect going
to allow the A.C.L.U. and self-serving politicians to, in effect
take away the policeman¹s ability to protect us.
If you can¹t see a problem with the immigration policies
or lack thereof, I know I am not persuasive enough to convince
you of one.
America is at a crossroads, these and many other problems will
have to be dealt with in the very near future and it is my prayer
that we can elect public officials who are honest enough to
face them and capable of dealing
with them.
It¹s sink or swim time.
Pray for our troops
What do you think?
God Bless America
