2006 Soap Box Archives Feelings 09/04/06 Does anybody doubt that the Iranians are developing a nuclear bomb? Does anybody doubt that they will use it if develop it? Does anybody doubt who they’ll use it on? Does anybody doubt that Russia is an ally of Iran selling them a billion dollars worth of missile defense systems to protect it’s nuclear facilities. Does anybody doubt that France and Germany are in bed with Iran. Does anybody doubt that the big winner in all this is China, whose demand for petroleum has increased exponentially in the last few years. Does anybody think that we should have opened new oil fields and developed alternative fuel sources decades ago so we could we could thumb our collective noses at the Middle East. Does anybody think that we should have stayed the course in Iraq the first time and completely destroyed Saddam’s ability to wage war. Does anybody think that Bill Clinton should have taken Osama Bin Laden into custody on the three occasions he had the opportunity. Does it bother anybody else besides me that the Canadian media has taken such an adversarial position toward the best friend they have on earth. Does anybody really believe that France will see another decade without major financial and racial upheavals. Does anybody doubt that the major media of this country slants the news to suit their political agenda. Does anybody besides me believe that the cease fire in the Israeli, Hezbollah war was a mistake, just a chance for Hezbollah to rearm. Does anybody doubt that Hugo Chavez, the President of Venezuela is a dangerous loose cannon that we will have to deal harshly with some day. Does anybody besides me believe that the United States of America could count our true friends on one hand. Does anybody besides me worry that one day we’ll have a President who is soft on terrorism. Has anybody besides me noticed the deterioration in the morals of American youth since we’ve taken God out of our public schools. Does anybody besides me think that violent child abuse is on the rise and that the death penalty should automatically apply when someone is convicted of raping and killing a child.
