No matter what else is on my mind, no matter what else I think about, there
is always a hard lump at the edge of my consciousness and it never goes
away. And that is my fear that America is in at least partial denial about
the very real and deadly danger we face.

We seem to have forgotten the panic, chaos and confusion of 9-11. We don't want to see the planes flying into the Trade Center anymore, we don't want to think about the destruction of The Pentagon or how a handful of brave Americans disrupted plans for even more devastation by crashing an airliner in a field in Pennsylvania.

One of two things will happen, America will heed the alarm clock screaming
at us or we will be kicked awake by an even more devastating terrorist
attack.

Before we skip off merrily any further down the primrose path we need to be aware of a few facts.

There are people out there just waiting for us to drop our guard enough to
harm us again and nothing short of divine intervention is going to stop
them.

No matter how many left wing nut cases come out of the halls of academia and tell you that America is responsible for our terrorist problems we need to remember that America is not the only country in the world to be attacked, America did not invent terrorism and almost every act of terrorism in the modern world is carried out by Islamic radicals who are bent on the destruction of life as we know it.

Terror is real, it's here to stay and it can't be ignored away,
placated away, dreamed away or whisked away by some self-serving politician who has nothing but criticism to offer? It can only be destroyed and it's either them or us.

Why is that so hard for America to realize? I can tell by some of my email
that there are people out there that are so blinded by their hate of George
W. Bush that they're willing to believe just about anything some crackpot
puts out that makes him look bad.

Some people even believe that if we'd just be nice to the terrorists they
would be nice to us. And to tell you the truth, this is the hardest one for
me to swallow.

You could give these people the world, in fact that's exactly what they
want, but if you still lived on it they would not be happy until they had
destroyed you.

I think it's time we developed the same policy toward them. There is no
middle ground, no compromise and no sanctuary. It's all or nothing and
unless we realize that, we are going to suffer losses that we don't even
want to imagine.

Be vigilant America, wake up and smell the impending doom.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
