Rumors Of War 07/10/06

Of course you have to admire the efforts of people who work to bring about peace. But in the case of Israel and the radical lunatics who want to destroy her it’s just not going to happen.

No matter how many grandiose peace plans are crafted by the world’s diplomats, no matter how much territory the Jews give away, no matter how many concessions the Israelis make they will never placate the terrorists who are bent on erasing them from the face of the earth.

The fact is that the more land Israel gives away the more it will embolden their enemies and make an already volatile situation even more dangerous. Besides if the Jews gave up everything but a square mile their enemies still would not be happy. They would want every inch of Israel and settle for nothing less.

Only if the rest of the world would join in and stop the flow of weapons and funds to the terrorists would it be possible to bring about peace in the Middle East, but the odds of that happening are about the same as me quarterbacking the next Super Bowl.

The truth of the matter is that about the only real friend Israel has is America and we sometimes fail her by demanding that they make too many concessions, which turn out to be detrimental to their national wellbeing.

Presidents and foreign leaders have been trying to bring about a workable peace plan in the Middle East for decades. The sad truth is that none of them are going to work.

There will be no lasting peace in Israel until the Messiah comes back to earth and sets up his earthly kingdom in Jerusalem

Oh there will be brief periods when many will be lulled into thinking that peace has come to the Holy Land at last. But while
they are saying “peace peace;” destruction will come swiftly and deadly and the wars that will be fought in the last days in the Middle East will make all the wars fought there before look like minor skirmishes.

The pieces and players which could bring about the war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 are moving into place. It couldn’t have happened a few years ago but now the alliances are being formed and arms are being stockpiled as that awful day approaches, the day when all the world will forsake Israel. But the day when the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob fights for her, it will be the bloodiest day in the history of mankind as all but one sixth of the armies that come against Israel will fall on the field of battle.

There is nothing any human being can do to prevent the events which are prophesied in the word of God.

Keep your eyes on Israel, it is the scroll on which the last few pages of history will be written.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
