2006 Soap Box Archives Corrections 03/10/06 I recently wrote a soapbox concerning a time when Russia and the Islamic countries will come against Israel. The biblical information I used is easy to find. It is in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 and mentions some of the nations by name and some are referred to by the names of Noah’s descendants who settled in these parts of the world. Some erroneous information has surfaced in relation to what I wrote. Someone said that the events I wrote about took place during Roman times. This is totally false. The event I’m referring to has not taken place yet. There has never been a time when Russia and all the nations I wrote about ever marched against Israel together. This is something which will happen in the future and the relatively near future in my opinion and could well be triggered by Israel destroying Iran’s nuclear capabilities, a task they certainly don’t want to take on but one that could well be necessary for their survival. It sure doesn’t look like the rest of the world is going to do anything about it. I can tell by the tone of some of your email that you think I’m an uneducated, backwater hick whose beliefs are old fashioned and passé. The uneducated part I’ll agree to since I only graduated from highschool. I may have been born and raised in a backwater but I’ve traveled a good part of the world and picked up a lot of common knowledge on the street. As to
what I believe, it is timeless. There always has been and always
will be God and the events I’m writing about are his And since you can’t send me to Heaven or Hell your opinion of me is irrelevant, so I’ll take the infallible word of the one who holds the keys to eternity.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and that nobody comes to the Father without going through Him. Why do I believe that? Because the only man to ever rise from the dead said it. I know what your next argument is going to be “What happens to the Muslims”? My answer is that the God I serve is a merciful God and wise beyond anything my finite mind can imagine. He will make those decisions, not me. One other thing, don’t, as I used to do, ever think that Jehovah and Allah are the same god. They’re not and if you care enough to look it up you will find that what I’m saying is true. The day was prophesied and in my opinion has arrived, when man’s own brilliance would blind him to the truth. Dan Brown has written a book called the Da Vinci Code which claims that Jesus had a girlfriend and that she appears in Da Vinci’s famous painting of the last supper. Of course the book is totally fictitious but there are people out there who are willing to take it for the truth but these same people don’t believe what is written in the book of truth. All the prophetesses in the Bible will come true including Ezekiel 38 and 39 and the second coming of Jesus Christ and there is nothing anybody can do to stop it. All the brainpower in the world put together can’t. And not believing it can’t. It can’t be explained nor intellectualized away. All the armies that ever marched combined can’t stop it and if you don’t believe it I think you’ll soon have some tangible evidence. Just have the sense to recognize it when it gets here.
