Jessica’s Law 11/04/05

How many times have you heard about a child molester being let out of prison only to go and rape and kill another child? Too many.

In Florida there is a law called Jessica’s Law, named after a child who was brutally raped and murdered by a repeat offender who had no business whatsoever walking the streets.

The law demands that any serious first offense of child molestation requires a twenty-five year prison sentence with no parole, no time off for good behavior, no nothing, just twenty-five years of hard time.

The only thing wrong with Jessica’s Law as far as I’m concerned is that it doesn’t demand fifty years of hard time for these scum of the earth predators who put children through unspeakable horror and torture and take away an irreplaceable piece of a family’s heart.

I would even go a step farther and say that in the case of the death of a child, mandatory execution should be enforced.

People, how long will we allow our children to be victimized by
bleeding heart, liberal judges who pass out light sentences and let these monsters back out on the street to prey on innocent children? We can’t leave the future of our children in the hands of these do nothing judicial hacks.

It’s time to tie their hands by passing Jessica’s Law in all fifty states. That way we will at least be getting the dirt bag off the streets for twenty-five years and that’s a whole lot better than what’s happening now.

There seems to be no rehabilitation for child predators. It makes no difference how many chances they’re given, they go right back to their depravity and that’s too big a chance to take with innocent life.

How any politician could face his or her constituency and tell them they had voted against a bill to protect their children is hard to imagine, but in this day and age there are some.

During the aftermath of Katrina thousands of sexual predators escaped and have been disbursed back into society.
Law enforcement doesn’t know where they are which makes them an ever-present threat until they are locked up again.

We should be extra vigilant, not only with our own children, but we should keep an eye out for other people’s children too.

Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe some of the things I see in parking lots and shopping malls, the laxity of some parents who allow their small children to run way ahead of them or toddle unsupervised in a busy parking lot.

The only way we can defeat these degenerates is to put them in jail and leave them there.

We should all work to see that Jessica’s Law is put on the books in all fifty states.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
