France’s Troubles, America At Risk 11/07/05

I cannot for the life of me see why President Bush can’t see the danger of what is happening at our borders and realize the potential for disaster this wholesale crossing of illegal immigrants poses.

We’ve all heard about the riots in France. Riots caused by young Muslims who think that to get their way is to destroy life and property.

I truly hate to see this happening in France but you must admit that the French have been asking for this for a long time with their over liberal immigration policies of allowing hordes of Muslims to immigrate, refusing to acknowledge the problem they already had as the Islamics gathered into their own neighborhoods, unassimilated, unemployed and it appears uncontrollable as far as the French are concerned.

If there is a classic example of trying to placate illegal immigrants by giving them social welfare programs it should be in France. They have put these people on the dole and a fat lot of good it has done them. They’re still trying to burn Paris down.

You’d best look and learn all of you socialistic politicians who think you can solve any problem by throwing money at it, those of you who think we should have dual official languages in our public schools, those of you who think that we should pass out driver’s licenses to anybody, regardless of whether they can read enough English to decipher the traffic signs or not.

Don’t ever think that what is happening in France with the Muslims can’t happen in America when the labor market is finally flooded and the country is full of illegal, angry, young Hispanics.

The analogy between what’s happening in France and what could happen in America is not so far fetched. All it takes is one charismatic rabble rouser to ignite the already smoldering emotions among the have nots who slip across the border and see the affluence not realizing, as so many poor people do, that
what they see has been earned by hard working people.

I’m afraid that what’s happening in France is just the tip of the European iceberg. Many countries over there have allowed a
disproportionate mass of immigrants from Africa and the Islamic countries.

I’m afraid they’re setting on a time bomb. Europe and especially France, is so given to pacifism and socialism that it’s hard to imagine them taking the kind of stringent action it’s going to require to quell this violence for good.

In the meantime, I think we are manufacturing a time bomb of our own, as nightly illegals pour across our borders in numbers we can only guess at.

One of my fears is that if President Bush and Congress continue to ignore the problem at our borders that it’s going to be taken into the hands of American citizens. It could get ugly, and nobody wants that.

Where are you Washington?

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
