Dire Warnings 08/27/04

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.

No that’s not an editorial from the pages of a modern day newspaper, it was written two thousand years or so ago by the Apostle Paul to his protégé Timothy speaking of the last days.

How accurately Paul described the present day human condition. The if it feels good do it, anything for money, I’m right and you’re wrong no matter what the facts, untrustworthy, me generation fits the mold perfectly.

Many people practice some form of spirituality, they wear religious symbols on chains around their necks and claim that all roads lead to the mountain top whether they follow Buddah, Mohammed, humanism or any one of a myriad of new age teachings.

The truth is that no one but God is on the mountaintop and there is only one road which leads to Him, and His name is Jesus Christ.
Why do I say that? Because it is written in the infallible word of God.

Now I know that some of you people don’t believe that the word of God is infallable, but it will be proven to be so, beyond a shadow of a doubt and I believe that the time is fast approaching.

If you really want to know what’s going to ultimately happen in the Middle East, read Ezekiel 38 and 39. It tells of a day when practically the whole Muslim world, along with Russia will come against Israel.

Impossible you say? If you keep up with current events you will discover that the pieces are rapidly falling in place. The alliances
between Russia and Iraq and Iran to me are significant signs and should the Israelis take out the Iranian nuclear facility and it could offend Russia big time.

I am not a prophet and make no claims of knowing when all this will happen, but believe me, it will happen, along with a lot of other things, which will terrify the human race.

We live in terrible and prophetic times and it seems to me that
things are accelerating exponentially. I believe that this world will see much violence in the years to come.

We live in an apostate generation who has fallen away from their Creator, calling good evil and evil good.

Iniquity stalks the streets of America. Drugs, murder, rape,
robbery and home invasion just to name a few.

Greedy lawyers defend the ones who can pay, no matter how guilty they are, while they would not raise one manicured finger to defend the life of an unborn child who is going to have a pair of scissors stuck into its innocent skull.

A day of reckoning is fast approaching and believe me folks, it’s not something that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals of California can reverse.

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, look up your redemption drawed nigh.
