This Election 10/29/04

As the song says the days dwindle down to a precious few. The election is upon us and if we’ve ever had a more important one in my lifetime I can’t remember it.

I have never seen this nation so polarized and so angry.

One thing about it, Americans have never had a clearer choice between two candidates and what it all boils down to is what you consider to be the most important issues facing our nation and which candidate comes closest to representing your personal views.

It depends on who is going to do the best job of protecting your children and grandchildren from terrorism. George Bush or John Kerry.

Do you want to pin your hopes for a good economy on rescinding tax benefits?

Kerry says he will take away the tax cuts that were given to everybody who makes more than two hundred thousand dollars a year. What he doesn’t tell you is that he will also be taking tax breaks away from hundreds of thousands of small businessmen who pay taxes on an individual scale.

I know because I am one of them and while Kerry wants you to think that he would be taking money away from people like me,
what you don’t realize is that the money he takes from me is the same money that I give my employees in the form of salaries, Christmas bonuses and so forth. If I don’t make it, I can’t pass it on.

Be honest with yourself when you walk into that voting booth.
Are you really willing to put the safety of your children and grandchildren into the hands of a man who feels that we have to have approval of the United Nations and the blessings of France and Germany before we can respond to a terrorist attack?

Now I know that a lot of you people out there will say that is not what Kerry means, but if he doesn’t mean it he shouldn’t say it.

Ask yourself whether pulling a fully developed unborn baby’s body out it’s mother’s womb and plunging a sharp pair of scissors into its brain is murder or a constitutional right. John Kerry says it is a constitutional right.

Do you want a government bureaucracy telling you how to live your life, do you want our military to be judged in a global court? Do you want to be forced to abide by the economy ruining Kyoto Accords, a code which very few nations would come close to abiding by but yet the U.S.A. could be fined and castigated for breaking them?

Do you want to be a citizen of the United States of America or the United States of Planet Earth?

It’s up to you America. Make up your own mind and cast your own ballot.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
