Trial For A Monster 07/06/04

This morning on TV I heard a lawyer say that the trial of Saddam Hussein should be moved to the world court. For what? Why?
I’ll tell you why, to get him out of American custody and turn him over to a bunch of politically correct milksops who can’t even convict Slobodan Milosevic of the horrible crimes he committed in Kosovo and Bosnia when there’s enough evidence against him to hang half the population of Hong Kong.

Saddam committed his crimes in front of the whole world, we’ve found the mass graves where the people in them have their hands bound behind them, we’ve found the rape rooms, the torture chambers and we have film of people being tied up and dropped off roofs. We know about the poison gas. We know about the human beings he ran through the plastic shredders feet first. We know about him setting fire to the oil wells and draining the Arab marshes.

What more do we need? Are we looking for Saddam to confess to these atrocities? Well let me tell you something, that’ll happen the day after the sun rises in the West.

I’m actually hearing people who seem to have sympathy for this scumbag who had his own sons-in-law murdered.

The finest of American youth have given their lives to bring this man to justice and now that we have him some lawyers want to move in and defend his rights.

Rights???? What rights???? This SOB forfeited any rights he has ever had when he had women raped in front of their husbands and children tortured in front of their parents.

I view Saddam as I do an armed robber, if you walk into a convenience store with a gun in your hand you have just signed
your own death warrant and if the person behind the counter blows your head off it’s your own fault. Saddam grossly mistreated the people of Iraq and now it’s payback time.

The indescribably terrible things that happened in Iraq didn’t happen without Saddam’s knowledge. He let it happen, he caused it to happen and he should be tried in Iraq by Iraqis. He should have to face the fathers of children he has tortured, the families of the young women that his demented son raped for sport. He should have to face the families of Kurds he poisoned and the people he has had mutilated and humiliated.

This man held a whole nation hostage for 23 years, the most brutal regime of modern times and some people are worried about him getting a fair trial.

There is no way to punish Saddam for what he has done to his people. There is no way to bring back the innocent people he has tortured and put to death.

Saddam can only die one time but in my opinion the sooner that happens the better off the whole world will be better off.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
