What About Iraq? 07/22/03

You may as well get ready for it. The war in Iraq is going to be the
biggest political football since Watergate, as politicians spin and
jockey for position, trying to make something out of nothing and
ignoring the obvious, caring little for anything but votes for their
party.

Should we have gone into Iraq, should we leave before the job is done?

Let’s just use a little cowboy logic here, ask yourselves these
questions.

1. Do I really think that the world is not a better place without
Saddam Hussein being in power?

2. Do I really believe that Saddam never had weapons of mass
destruction?

3. Do I really believe that he never used poison gas on his own people?

4. Do I really believe that Saddam would hesitate to come against
America and harm us in any way he could?

5. Do I really believe that Saddam didn’t support terrorism against the
United States?

6. Do I really believe that the Iraqi people are not better off without
Saddam and his sons?

7. Do I really believe that Saddam didn’t torture men, women and
children?

8. Do I really believe that Saddam didn’t take money from the Food for
Oil Program and use it for his lavish personal lifestyle while
thousands of children starved to death?

9. Do I really believe that the war against Saddam Hussein was not
part of the war on terrorism?

10. Do I really believe that Saddam was not trying to develop nuclear
weapons?

11. Do I really believe that there are not politicians in this nation
who would not hesitate to ruin anybody’s reputation and even do harm to
the United States of America to gain or retain power?

12. Do I really believe that Saddam was not only a major threat to
America but also to every other freedom loving nation in the world?

13. Do I really believe that had Saddam not been stopped, he would have
eventually supplied weapons of mass destruction to terrorists to use
against American and Israeli interests?

If you answered yes to all of the above questions, you either need a
good psychiatrist or a brain transplant.
