The Infallible Word of God 06/13/03

If you don’t believe that all the prophecies in the Holy Bible will
come true you are in for a rude awakening. Everyone of them will
happen right down to the nth degree just as they are foretold in the
pages of the Scriptures.

I believe that we are living in the end times, and when I say that I
don’t mean that I know when the last day will come or even what year it
will happen. But it will happen.

Things move faster all the time, people get greedier, more cruel,
more self serving, less caring for others, and farther and farther away
from the Creator who made them.

Man has come to the sadly mistaken conclusion that he can solve the
problems of the world on his own without divine intervention. Nothing
could be farther from the truth. Man has made a bigger and bigger mess
of things as the years go by.

Mankind can’t bring peace to the Middle East or create a perfect
society, nor solve the world’s pollution problem. The reason why is
simple. There is no way that the human beings on this earth are going
to cooperate and be of one accord.

Different ideologies, different religions, different cultures combined
with the lust for wealth and power preclude all hope of one world
governments and global villages. We can’t even agree on trade
practices or standardized world health care, how in the world are we
going to solve problems between people who hate each other?

Of course that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try. We should strive for
peace and the well being of our fellow human beings with all the vigor
we can muster. But there will always be men like Joseph Stalin and
Saddam Hussein who put their own lust for power above the prosperity of
their people.

The Bible foretells the times we live in with descriptions of men
who are boastful, proud and lovers of themselves and money.
Look at the recent companies whose officers took millions of dollars
for themselves, while leaving their stockholders with near worthless
pieces of paper.

Look at the murder rate, the armed robberies, home invasions, the self
serving politicians, school killings, rapes and suicides. Something is
wrong in this country, people.

Something is dreadfully wrong and passing another law is not going to
fix it. Throwing money at it is not going to make it go away. No
amount of social engineering nor government programs are going to solve
the problem.

Man will never solve his own problems and the A.C.L.U. can go to court
until they are gray of hair and purple of face and they can’t change
the fact that God exists, that He is sovereign, that He is omnipotent,
omniscient and omnipresent. In other words, He is all powerful, He
knows everything and He can be everywhere at the same time.

He will not be mocked and His Word is true and infallible. Only He can
solve the problems of man and one of these days He will, yes He will.

Pray for our troops.
