The Devil and Roy Moore 11/17/03

I never thought that I’d see the day when a Judge in the United States would be removed from the bench for having a monument of The Ten Commandments on the grounds of a courthouse.

And people, make no mistake about it, what happened here has little to do with The Ten Commandments and much to do with denying God, which Judge Moore absolutely refused to do.

The panel of judges who removed him would not allow the bright light of truth to shine on their proceedings. They refused to allow TV cameras so that the public, whom they are supposed to be representing, could see what was going on and form their own opinions.

I don’t blame them. If I had been part of that shameful event I would have hidden my head too, but I hope that they will remember that there is a time coming when there will be no place to hide.

I can’t understand why, if The Ten Commandments offend someone, they can’t just walk on by and not look at it. I see things all the time which offend me but I’m not going to try to get some federal judge to rule against it being there. I really feel sorry for somebody who is in such ill health that they can’t turn their heads or close their eyes to hide something which offends them.

People, we need to wake up to what is going on in Washington D.C. right now. The left wing of the Senate is trying to dominate the nation by packing the Judiciary with the kind of judges who will try to take the name of God out of every part of American public life.

They could never get their godless legislation passed in full sessions of Congress so they try to come in the back door, denying God fearing judges access to the bench.

Does the majority really rule this nation? Or is it a handful of
lefty Senators who refuse to let President Bush’s judicial nominees even come to the floor of the Senate for a full vote because they know that the majority of the Senate would truly represent the folks back home by confirming these decent people.

People, this is not a battle over The Ten Commandments. This is a battle for the soul of America. Make no mistake about it this mischief was hatched in the very bowels of hell.

I understand that Alabama Attorney General Bill Pryor asked
Judge Roy Moore three separate times if he would still acknowledge God if he remained Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court and Judge Moore answered yes each time.

How much longer will the God fearing citizens of America continue to allow the tail to wag the dog? How much longer before we stand up and force our legislative branch to get in line with the convictions of the majority?

God bless you, Roy Moore, and God bless all the people like you who stand up for what they believe in without flinching.

I guess you’d have to say that the devil won the battle in Montgomery but Judge Roy Moore is going to win the war.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
