A Big Mistake 05/30/03

I think that George Bush is a good president and I have supported him
in almost everything he has done since he has been in office, but I
feel that he is making a huge mistake forcing his “road map to peace”
on the state of Israel.

Peace in the Middle East is an illusive myth. It takes two sides to
stop terrorism and attain peace, and while I believe that the Israelis
would love to live in peace, the radical faction of Yassar Arafat and
his kind will never let it happen.

What has happened every time Israel has made concessions to the
Palestinians?

Another suicide bomber walked into a crowded place in Israel and blew
himself, or as the case is now, herself up, totally unmindful of the
innocent women and children they murder.

If the Palestinians want peace, why do they keep murdering Israeli
citizens.?

The radical Palestinian factor doesn’t want peace with Israel.
They want nothing less than the destruction of the Israeli state, and
one more piece of paper is not going to change that.

The children of Israel hold the title to the land they live on, the
oldest deed in existence granted to them by none other than the creator
of the universe, Almighty God. The area is well defined and has been
promised to them forever, and no power on earth can take it from them.

I believe that Israel faces some dark days ahead and this
administration is not helping to lessen the darkness.

I’m sure that President Bush’s motives are noble. But it doesn’t take
a rocket scientist to recognize the Palestinians for what they are and
they are not going to abide by anything less than the total destruction
of Israel. And that my friends just ain’t gonna happen.

There will be no peace in the Middle East until Jesus Christ comes back
to earth. Oh there will be a three and a half year period of peace
under the rule of the satanic antichrist, but only the return of Jesus
will bring lasting peace in Israel.

When 9-11 happened it gave us a taste of what Israel goes through
everyday.

Israel is a small country totally surrounded by water and hostility.
It would be like living in Minneapolis and having terrorists in Saint
Paul, terrorists who are willing to strap explosives to their body and
walk into a shopping mall and detonate them.

I believe that our forcing Israel into this farcical situation is
dangerous to them and to America. God said that he would bless those
who blessed Israel and would curse those who curse Israel. By muscling
the government of Israel into a ridiculous deal for a peace that will
never materialize we are certainly not blessing them. And we could
well reap a harvest of wrath should we continue down this path.

Blessed are the peacemakers and I admire anyone for trying to bring
peace to anyplace on earth. But this effort is ill advised, and a
waste of time and diplomacy.

Yassar Arafat is a terrorist, plain and simple and while the
Palestinians may insist that their new Palestinian Prime
Minister-designate Abu Mazen is
running things, it’s as plain as the nose on your face that Yassar
Arafat is the one who is really pulling the strings.

The U.S.A. has always been a friend to Israel, and they need us now as
much as they ever have.

Mr. Bush, I hope and pray that you will reconsider your position.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
