Creed Of Responsibility 05/26/03

If I stand out in a thunderstorm with a golf club in my hand and get
hit by lightning it is my fault.

If I have too much to drink and drive my car into a tree I have nobody
to blame but myself.

If I take up smoking cigarettes knowing full well that they can kill me
and get sick it’s my fault.

If I pick up a gun and shoot somebody, the gun had nothing to do with
it, I willfully did it on my own.

If I have a job and don’t work hard and everybody else but me gets
promoted, it is not the fault of my environment but a result of my own
laziness.

If I don’t go to the polls and vote I have no right to complain about
who is elected.

If I stumble and fall on a perfectly level street it is because of my
own clumsiness.

If I abuse my children it is because I’m evil, not because of something
that happened in my past.

If I stick a needle in my arm and become addicted to drugs it is
because I did it to myself.

If I criticize something or someone, I must have the guts to stand
behind what I say, no matter what the consequences may be.

If I don’t take school seriously and don’t get an education it is my
problem.

If I willfully destroy someone’s property I should have to pay for it.

If I father a child, I should be responsible for it’s well being until
it reaches the age of majority.

The government nor any other agency is responsible for taking care of
me from the cradle to the grave, as long as I am able bodied enough to
earn a living.

If I hit somebody and they turn around and lay me out, I brought it on
myself.
If I want to drive a car that gets bad gas mileage, it’s nobody’s
business but my own.

If I want to put “Under God” in my Pledge of Allegiance I will do so no
matter what any court says.

If I want to cut a tree on my own property it’s none of anybody’s
business.

I have a constitutionally mandated right to protect my home with
firearms and it’s nobody’s concern but mine.

I should not have a bigger family than I’m able to support.

I believe that if a person is willing to lay their life on the line for
the protection of the public they should be well rewarded for it.

I believe that our veterans, from any era should be respected and
honored.

I believe that I can do a better and more meaningful job of spending my
money than the government can.

I believe in welfare but only for the ones who truly need it, everybody
else should have to work for a living.

I believe in term limits, a strong military and the ownership of legal
firearms.

I believe that a person should be able to worship Almighty God in
whatever way they choose.

I believe in plain words, hard work, family and friends.

I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ
and America, I believe in you.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
