Truth

The lowest common denominator in the affairs of man is not
prestige, knowledge nor power. Actually it is truth.

Real truth is indistillable, unarguable, diamond hard, always runs an
absolute straight line, and is probably the most corrupted thing on the
face of the earth.

Politicians defile and sidestep the truth, answering a question with a
question or hiding behind semantics. ”It depends on what the meaning of
the word is.” Remember that one?

Lawyers make a living subverting the truth. Our justice system
actually encourages it by the restrictions and caveats it places on what
can and what cannot be introduced in court.

Such as bringing up a defendant’s past record, sometimes pertaining to
earlier offenses of the same nature, which would show that the defendant
was capable of the offense they were charged with.

Our justice system should be concerned with letting the truth come out,
no holds barred. Then and only then can a jury truly decide whether a
person is innocent or guilty. If a person is innocent, the truth will
work for his good, and if he is guilty it will work on behalf of justice
being done, which is what courts are supposed to be about anyway.

How many child molesters and homicidal predators roam the streets of
America because some politically correct judge would not let the truth
come out? After all, doesn't the oath make someone swear to tell the
truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

Imminent scholars have devoted academic lifetimes to searching for
truth, the answers to why we are here and what our purpose in life is.
When the answer is practically right under their noses. Man’s purpose
for being on earth is to serve God and man, and our purpose in life is
to prepare for the next life, which exists regardless of what the
misinformed intelligentsia say.

The rapture of Heaven, the unspeakable horrors of hell exist and every
person walking the face of this earth will spend eternity in one or the
other.

Why do I know this? Because it says so in the unshakable,never
changing, inerrant word of God, the Holy Bible.

The word of God is not changed by new age philosophy, liberal
theology, nor the popular opinions of the day. Every word is true,
beyond question, its prophecies will all come to pass and
the day of the Lord will arrive, and that is an unassailable fact.

Now I know some of you people who will read this won’t agree with me but
save your vitriolic e-mails. You don’t have to state your case to me.
You will have the opportunity to explain your feelings to God some day.
Another twisting of eternal truth is that there are many paths
to the mountain top. This is simply not true, since nobody lives on the
mountain top except Almighty God and he made it crystal clear in his
word that the only way to come to him would be through his son Jesus
Christ.

There is a new age adage that we are our own God. And these people are
supposed to be smart? Can they make it rain or snow? Can they make a
tree grow or stop a hurricane? Can they create life and dictate the
days allotted to it? Can they heal sickness or guarantee eternal life?
And they call themselves gods? They are not even rational human beings.

Wouldn’t you love to see our politicians answer questions with a
clear-cut yes or no. Instead of hanging on the fence of half truths and
placating platitudes designed to mean whatever the voter wants it to.
Wouldn’t you just love to know where they really stand?
I sure would.

His mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations.
Nuff said.
