Unwise Wisdom

I sometimes wonder if the A.C.L.U. and all the rest of the organizations who so oppose God think that he is just going to go meekly away just because they have persuaded a few misguided judges to rule in their favor. Their pompous statements about “The separation of church and state” and “violating constitutional rights”, are so off base as to be downright silly. The Constitution says that “Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise there of.” That is a direct quote from the First Amendment, and there is no mention of separation of church and state. In fact, the purpose of this amendment is to protect the church from the government not the other way around. Does the Supreme Court really think that they are the real Supreme Court? Do they actually think that their impotent rulings against school prayer and the display of the Ten Commandants will really make America a better place? Do they really believe that upholding the murder of unborn children will go unnoticed in the real Supreme Court? It makes no difference how many laws are passed, how many decisions are handed down from the high courts, how much influence the people for the American way gain over the politicians in this nation, the day will come when it all means less than nothing, except to stand as a witness against them. The man who denies the existence of God is a fool, and the man who tries to keep others from believing in God is an even bigger fool. What it comes down to is that the pitiful efforts of all these organizations in trying to do away with God are going to be proven futile and useless. Trying to do away with God with words and legislation, or any other method for that matter, is like trying to cover up the Atlantic Ocean with a pocket handkerchief, like trying to smother a forest fire with a piece of polyurethane. What we have here is the sad fact that man now has come to the conclusion that he is wiser than Almighty God. That he knows the best course for mankind better than the God who created us. Some people have decided in their new age wisdom that they are their own gods. They can’t even decide the time or method of their own deaths, now what kind of God is that. Our college campuses are inundated with educated fools who scoff at the idea that this earth and everything in the universe, including human beings were made by the hand of an almighty, omnipotent, omnipresent God, who loved this world so much that He sacrificed His only Son so that they could have eternal life. It will take less than one second in eternity for all the laws, theories and atheistic idealism to be reduced to ashes. There are no arguments in hell, there is no idealism, there are no high minded causes ,there are no defense attorneys, no Supreme Court, and there is absolutely no hope. Please don’t get the idea from what I’ve written that I’m taking a flippant attitude or wish harm or hell on those I’m writing about. In fact I pity them. Their wisdom is foolishness, their arrogance is folly and they are building their eternal houses on sinking sand. They need our prayers. I received an e-mail from someone recently implying that I shouldn’t take the Bible so literally, and that it could somehow affect everything else I said. I sure hope so,
