The Anti - God Squad

It seems to me that the A.C.L.U. could almost change their name to the anti-God squad. They want to take the name of God and Jesus Christ out of every public aspect of life, no nativity scenes,no “In god we trust” on our money, no “One Nation Under God” in our Pledge of Allegiance. And they do it all under the guise of that old worn out phrase, “Separation of church and state”. Most people don’t, even l know what the constitution says about that subject. The terminology is framed to protect the church from the state not the state from the church. If you read the writings of some of our most prominent and respected leaders and forefathers you’ll find that they were God fearing, praying men who were not timid about it. Why do we celebrate Christmas anyway? Is it Santa Claus or decorations or any of the other myriad of things which is perfectly all right in the A.C.L.U.’s book? No we celebrate Christmas because of the unalterable fact that it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, so if that is the reason for the season. Why can’t we have the trappings visible in public places? They don’t have any problem if someone puts witches up during Halloween. Do they not represent the Wiccan religion. They have no trouble with the flags and bunting at the Fourth of July or the blatant, in your face spectacle of a gay pride parade. In fact, they are ready to put up with just about anything as long as it don’t mention God or Jesus Christ. Well they’d better get ready to bring their big guns out because there is a higher court where the judge is never wrong and there is no appeal. Where the verdict is eternal and every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that the very person whose birthday they are so adamant about belittling is the son of the judge and the Saviour of mankind. This same bunch helped put an end to school prayer and the display of the Ten Commandments in our public schools, and I don’t think I have to remind anybody what has happened in those schools in the last forty years. No matter what the A.C.L.U. does this country was built on judeo-Christian values and they can’t change that fact. We are the victims of the courts and they seem bent on destroying every semblance of our religious heritage. America has prospered being “One Nation Under God”. Our currency is the world’s most stable with “In God We Trust” inscribed on it and I don’t want to see us try it any other way. Mark my words, if we stand by and let these people have their way, the next thing will be to remove the tax free status from our churches and no telling what else. God has been good to America. He has blessed us above any country in the history of the world. He has been patient with us. He has withheld his wrath through the murderous practice of abortion and the decadent state of our society. He has blessed us with prosperity, victory and a caliber of life which is the envy of every other nation on the face of this earth. We need to pray for America, her leaders, her judges and her citizens. The bible says we should pray for those who spitefully use us, and I think that means we should pray for the A.C.L.U. too.
