Hell
While I am all for taking our time and making sure that we have our
target in our sights and diligently pursue the path of the lease amount
of civilian causalities possible, I am getting some signals I don’t
like from some of the talking heads on television. It appears that some
of them think that we could execute a surgical strike in Afghanistan,
take out Bin Ladin and his vermin and pack it up and come home. Bin
Ladin is just the tip of the iceberg. The only way we can have real
security in this country is to take out every terrorist cell in existence
whether it be in the Bakaa Valley or the United States of America. Otherwise,
what we’ve seen happen in the last few weeks will only be a prelude
to a reign of terror the likes of which this world has never seen. These
people have chemical and biological weapons, they’re developing
nuclear capabilities. And anyone who thinks that they won’t use
them should check into the nearest mental ward. I received an e-mail
from some bleeding heart berating me for angering people with my soapbox
pieces, that he had been to the Middle East and these people weren’t
like that and that I should tone down my rhetoric. Well Mister, I’ve
got one thing to say to you. Tone down hell, it’s my intention
to heat it up because if we don’t keep the white hot attitudes
which we had on that fateful Tuesday we’ll never win this war.
Make no mistake about it, these people are dedicated to the destruction
of the United States, Israel and every other country who disagrees with
them. The Taliban are animals who treat their women like dirt and actually
beat them with sticks for the slightest infraction of their own perceived
Islamic law. They care nothing for the citizens of their own nation
and would rather let their people starve and suffer than to turn over
that son of a dog and his band of wanton cutthroats. They are pitiful
excuses for human beings and should be driven from power by whatever
means necessary. I can already see the signs at CNN and some of the
more liberal television outlets. They’re already gearing up to
show how mean the Americans are and how many innocent civilians will
be hurt in this conflict. Well let me tell you people something. Everytime
you get squeamish, just take another look at those Trade Towers coming
down and think about the totally innocent people who were buried under
tons of rubble denying their families even the mournful task of giving
them a decent burial. Talk to the members of the fire and police departments
which were decimated in the line of duty. We must, and I will repeat,
we must maintain the national will to see this thing through until the
end. There will be blood and body bags and collateral damage. There
will be heartbreak and carnage and sacrifice. There will be pro and
con, point and counterpoint, cowardice and bravery. There will be positioning
and parsing and unspeakable scum bags who will try to turn this tragedy
to their own personal profit, be it political or otherwise. But if we
stay the course, and only if we stay the course in the end there will
be victory for not only America, but for all the peace loving nations
of the world. In the meantime, don’t listen to these lukewarm people
and the nay sayers who tell us how badly England and Russia failed in
Afghanistan. Britain and Russia were there to conquer. We have no territory
to hold and no interest in Afghanistan other than exterminating the
vermin who attacked our country. This world just ain’t big enough
for them and the United States of America.
