Sleeze Beyond Belief

I am seething, disgusted, dis heartened and totally sickened by the new depths of sleeze to which the Gore camp and his bevy of scumbag crooks have stooped. It’s a new low even for them. I am referring to the attempt to keep our service men and women from voting in the Presidential election. Technicalities, questionable legal maneuvers and downright B S is no excuse to deny the people who defend our shores one of the very basic rights which they protect. There is no denying that there are extenuating circumstances with men and women who serve aboard ships and in the far flung corners of the world where their government has sent them and special consideration should be given to them. I cannot even articulate the contempt which I feel when I think about some slick politician ruling that a military vote doesn't count because of some little glitch when they are trying to steal an election and count votes which there is no way of determining who they are for. This is unconscionable, unethical, unfair and beneath the morals of any person who would be president. What kind of commander and chief would deny his troops this most basic of rights? Our military forces are overused, underpaid, under equipped and under respected by the Clinton administration. They stand in harm’s way everyday and make no bones about it. They are the only thing standing between us and some people who would like nothing better than make mincemeat out of our way of life. I'm so sick and tired of everybody acting as if Russia has just become our new best friend that I could throw up. Mark my words, we are not, repeat not, finished with the Russians yet. The situation in the Middle East is not going to resolve itself. There will be no lasting peace in Jerusalem until Jesus Christ’s second coming and you can take that to the bank. It’s bad enough that terrorists blow a hole in the side of one of our most sophisticated war ships and killed some of Americas finest young people and this administration has done nothing. But how about this, Bill Clinton refused to go to Viet Nam for his country but now that he’s President he thinks it’s cool to have a picture made with a bust of Ho Chi Minh. To me, this is a despicable act and tantamount to thumbing his nose if the faces of every name on that long black wall in Washington D C. When will this insanity stop? America sits calmly back while it’s military forces are decimated by a draft dodging slick talker who will not even stand up for them to have their votes counted. As commander and chief should he not come forward and make every effort to see that the troops under his command were treated fairly? I think so, and regardless of how this election goes, I will not forget what you did Al Gore. I will not forget the day that you sunk so low as to deny the people who protect us their rights. The day that you sold out for power. The day that you turned your back on America and sacrificed what little integrity you had left. Somebody has got to bear the shame for this travesty of justice and Mr. Gore that is just about the only thing I would vote for you for.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America
