Is It Snowing Again?

Remember when Ross Perot ran for president? Remember how he got into the race, garnered major support, got out of the race supposedly because of his fear for his daughter, then got back into the race, and still got 20% of the vote, just enough to keep George Bush from being elected? Is there something a little strange about all this to you? Could it be a well conceived, well executed, snow job? In the first place it seems a little suspect that a man who had braved Iran during the hostage crisis and valiantly gotten his employees out of harm’s way would fear anything, especially when he has the resources to hire a twenty-four hour a day miniature army if need be to protect his lived ones. I make no accusations and cast no aspersions, but could it be that Mr. Perot got into the race as a diversionary tactic, to appeal to enough of the conservative vote to put a democrat in the White House? Could he possibly have started gaining too much popularity, siphoning off too many votes, therefore quitting and admittedly losing some of his support, but then coming back to get just enough votes to assure a Clinton victory? Interesting thought isn't it? Do I sound like a conspiracy kook? Well so be it. I just happen to believe that there are forces at work behind the scenes in this country who are incredibly powerful, totally without conscience and with an insatiable appetite for control. Whether you accept that premise or not, at least consider this one. How much have you heard about Al Gore on your evening news in the last couple of weeks? Now, how much have you heard about John McCain? The evening newscasts are inundated with him. He is portrayed as the under dog, the outcast, the political outsider, who has sprung forth in full bloom to champion the cause of conservatives in this nation. Now come on media. Do you really expect us to believe that you people really like this guy? That you really would love to see him in the White House? Hogwash, there ain’t no way. You’ve got to have an ulterior motive. Now what could that be? Could it be that you know that George W. Bush would cream Al Gore in a general election? Could it be that you feel that in a general election you could tear John McCain to shreds while singing the praises of Al Gore and put another democrat in the White House? This is not an endorsement of any political candidate and I happen to think that John McCain is a fine and honorable man. But keep a close eye on the weather, it could well be snowing.

What do you think?
